Interesting. From Ryan Murphy, coming Sept 25th 2024. I hope it’s an improvement on the last few seasons of the AHS franchise.
Wow, what a way to start its first season. Also, loving the lead actress! Niecy Nash - what a great choice and Travis Kelce, nice. I didn’t want to watch it because I thought it was going to be all about blood and guts with the name of it and all, and of course its blood and guts but the detective part makes it all work. It’s definitely a yes for me.
mate, youre not missing out on much yet. so far, it’s like a typical daytime soap opera.
I agree but it could be worse and it is much better than the 1980’s Love Boat series.
This show needs some comic relief or lighten up a little. There is more drama in this show than a daytime soap opera.
The YouTube Zen Motoring series appears to have different episodes after the first one, “Scooters”.
I posted a link for S1E1, but the rest of the titles above are on the BBC.
No plot, just calm commentary as we drive around London. Zen driving.
It’s very unusual entertainment, but you’ll only need 5’ to know if it’s for you. Very niche.
They’re talking about this season of “From”
Hopefully it is based of the 1979 original.
Nope and no. I’m truly sorry to say as I was really looking forward to it. It strays so far from the entire premise it’s like a drama.
I thought it was pretty good. I don’t think I ever watched the original but I remember my neighbors talking about a certain scene that scared them. After watching this 2024 version I might binge watch them all … Salem’s Lot (1979) A Return to Salem’s Lot (1987) Salem’s Lot (2004)
I wouldn’t bother with “A Return to Salem’s Lot”. It’s absolutely awful and not worth the bandwidth. In any case, happy viewing!
Have to agree with this review - Salem’s Lot was the scariest book I have ever read… 15 years old, under the covers at night, with a torch…. scared me silly. Unfortunately this version came across like a Midday Movie. Go watch the original.
I’m happy others enjoyed it. We’ve all different tastes, but as far as a remake it pales on comparison to the 1979 version. Obviously adaptations change things, but the changes in this version were off the chart. It’s just my opinion and I wish everyone a good viewing night.
Great TV, very entertaining. I wish there more episodes per season though, The cast will be old by the time the story is over at the pace this going.
Each episode is too expensive. Maybe if they focused on the story and character development instead of CGI. I still don’t understand how they managed to spend $1 billion for both seasons.
A recommend from someone to me. And I to you. This is a great little film for a few laughs
Tired of drifting, searching, shifting From town to town Everytime I slip and slide A little further down I can’t blame you if you wont take me back After everything I put you through But honey you’re me last hope And who else can I turn to? Come on Silver Lady take my word I won’t run out on you again believe me Oh I’ve seen the light It’s just one more night without you Here I am a million miles away from home The Indiana wind and rain cut through me I’m lost and alone Chilled to the bone Silver lady
Such a good song! I think I might need to make a ‘David Soul and other obscure 70s favourites’ playlist.
It’s what’s inside is absolutely EPIC. This was a well thought out movie. Praying for a part 2. It can be a bit confusing at times but it’s easy to catch up.
My sister had that album! She was a HUGE Starsky and Hutch fan in the 70s. I prolly still know the words to all the songs. This one was my favourite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgVaYq-SW9U

I can’t believe this show has been on for all these years. I looked back at the first episode not too long ago, and they all looked so young an fresh faced. Great show, and I look forward to it every year.
Pretty good show, so far. Good to see Kristin Kreuk again. It’s sort of Hallmark-ish, not a lot of rough and tough stuff, but not bad for an easy watch. Not something I’d look forward to every week, but good enough. to put on my schedule.
I liked this one. For sure, it probably would have been better if they would have done more research on the subject, but there is a strange atmosphere to it, and some good ideas executed as well. I recommend it if you want to watch a supernatural horror movie which is not about the same creatures over and over again (werewolves, vampires, zombies, generic demons…)
A purposely bad and spiteful movie meant to emasculate Arthur’s character and shame anyone who enjoyed the first film and empathized in any way with him
I am so glad this has arrived and is already reaching the high quality deserving of the DC universe
I have really been missing the darkness of Gotham City!
wow wonder who that could be tareek was talking to at the end ? 5/5
I think it was Tommy on the phone. I think they are really trying to set it up for a different show.
I use to love that song. As for this movie, I made it a short while into it and could of swore I already saw this one and stopped watching it. Was not thrilled.
And Clap for the Wolfman by the Guess Who, too! 🇨🇦
Gordon Lightfoot, and Burton Cummings are 2 of my all time favourite Canadian (my home and native land) artists, and King is one of my all time favourite writers. I liked the movie about 3/5 worth, but Gord and the Guess Who bumped it up for me.
It’s been at least 40 years since I saw the original, and longer since I read the book. I think it’s time to revist them both.
I watched the original numerous times on VHS. I grew up in the country, no cable so much of what I watch were movies my Dad made copies of what we rented. Salem’s lot was one of my favs’ from the horror genre and The Exorcist was number 1. I loved the Guess Who as well. No sugar tonight, or hand me down world were great ones too. The Wreck of the Edmunds Fitzgerald is my fav. but G.L. I put this movie on my watch list. I hope it’s not going to disappoint. It was great getting to know you. Have a splendid day :)
wow. Tense and heavy. This episode got me in the feels, wish I watched it earlier in the evening, instead of right before bed. Ruseck could get a nod for his acting here.
He did an excellent job as did the writers with how a person can hold it together in a stressful situation until it is over .
I really like this show I hope to God its more season unlike 5 which it seems like how the patterns are now most shows I hope a lot of People will support this new cool show plus she’s right this world hates different for real I’m different I have Autism so I really do think way way outside the box I do things totally think different then your average person
I really like this show reminds me of New Amsterdam dang spell checks suck
well they chose an awesome song for the trailer. Gordon Lightfoot, a very talented Canadian artist.

I made it through the first episode hoping it would get better with time. I didn’t make it more than a few minutes into the second episode. Some of the actors accents are so bad and or heavy I had to keep replaying lines of dialog to understand what was being said. Decided it was not worth the time - off my list of things to watch.
The accents are absolutely fine - but then again I am a Brit and we are used to multiple accents - even USA ones ;)
Come on - renew for at least 2 more seasons. The Ark just keeps on improving !!
Focusing on the Trump administration’s policy of deliberately separating children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border. Over 1300 kids still haven’t found their parents. Pure evil. December release.
They should really consider making a video game based on this series, could be big
This was a snore fest…and just didn’t make any sense at all - because, if we got by the wtf ending, then technically, the joker never existed. It seems undecided on whether it wants to go down a musical route or a dark movie like the first one. Very disappointing. No fault of the actors they did what they could but the whole storyline and character development was a shambles.
The ending of the first one is purposely ambiguous. It’s possible the entire movie takes place in the asylum, or that he’s in the asylum because he killed Murray on tv in his Joker paint. With that in mind this entire movie could be another story Arthur’s made up or it could be real without contradicting the first imo.
this could have been 6 episodes. no need for a second season. great ending but then a weird follow up ending that could have been cut.

This remake is simply awful. Not only is it nothing like the book from which it’s adapted, it’s not the least bit frightening. It feels like this director doesn’t understand (or dislikes) Stephen King and his telling of one of the most frightening novels I’ve ever read. Watch the 1979 version instead https://www.primewire.tf/movie/176461-salems-lot It’s truly skin crawlingly creepy and terrifying.

season 5 is moving to peacock, no official premier date, they moved it primarily because its highest viewer numbers reflect it is watched on peacock even though its was delayed. so it will air on thursday peacock when it returns, and also why “found” was moved to their original slot. got impression it won’t start till after the 2 law n order shows end season. but not confirmed
