The Ark takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions on a spacecraft known as Ark One encounters a catastrophic event causing massive destruction and loss of life. With more than a year left to go before reaching their target planet, a lack of life-sustaining supplies and loss of leadership, the remaining crew must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive. |

I had to find a new show but i agree its bad but i still want to see what happens next after binging it to date. but yeah i agree its not good but good enough for now i suppose.

Yeah. I tried. Not as hard as I used to try. But I did try. Think my ‘trier’ got burned out from all the trying….but I did give it a shot. I wanted to like it, need some good Science Fiction shows to pop up now and again to renew my faith, just this was not one of them sadly…

It must have been bad, because I can’t remember if I watched it or not. Usually, I have SOME recall of a show, even if it’s vague after two years of waiting for the next series. I vaguely recall something about pods being opened too soon or something, other than that, nada.
Uh…The Return of “the 100”…read it’s storyline 🤣🤣🤣

It’s the SYFY channel. They’ve got a long history of canceling great shows and renewing bad shows. It’s absurd enough that I’ve seen bad shows start to get good and that’s when they cancel it.
Well when nbc hijacks a channel out of sheer jealous rage for stealing its viewers, their anger known no bounds.

Is this a Young Adult show?
I made it through the first episode hoping it would get better with time. I didn’t make it more than a few minutes into the second episode. Some of the actors accents are so bad and or heavy I had to keep replaying lines of dialog to understand what was being said. Decided it was not worth the time - off my list of things to watch.
The accents are absolutely fine - but then again I am a Brit and we are used to multiple accents - even USA ones ;)
I’m all caught up now. Had to watch season 1 all over. I must have started watching, then stopped, because some of it was just completely new to me. Season 2 is getting a bit weird now, but still interesting. I like how it isn’t some science fiction thing from centuries way in the future, but is more present day things that we can understand. No beaming over to ships and planets, no “Earl Grey - Hot” machines. Just human beings trying their best to survive under untenable circumstances.
Why does it seem so long since Season 1? I barely remember any of it. Might have to go back and watch it from scratch, or scroll through the first season to refresh my memory.
Season 2 is nearly upon us …. 👏
