This remake is simply awful. Not only is it nothing like the book from which it’s adapted, it’s not the least bit frightening. It feels like this director doesn’t understand (or dislikes) Stephen King and his telling of one of the most frightening novels I’ve ever read. Watch the 1979 version instead https://www.primewire.tf/movie/176461-salems-lot It’s truly skin crawlingly creepy and terrifying.
Have to agree with this review - Salem’s Lot was the scariest book I have ever read… 15 years old, under the covers at night, with a torch…. scared me silly. Unfortunately this version came across like a Midday Movie. Go watch the original.
