Very nice old school vampire flick. I have not read the book or watched the previous adaptations but I really enjoyed this one and I think its one of the better Stephen King films.

This movie has almost nothing to do with DC’s Joker character other than the names imo. If that bothers you, then you should skip this movie. That being said, I really enjoyed it. It’s a very unique, one-of-a-kind movie that I couldn’t stop watching. A lot going on under the surface, Carl Jung’s idea of the ‘shadow-self’ and other themes in psychology. And yeah, it’s a musical - lots of great classic songs from decades ago. I will post a spoiler follow-up about the ending.

Watch the Australian Survivor. I just recently watched most of those seasons they are by far better than the US. Search Google for best Australian Survivor seasons and click on the first option which is a reddit post. You won’t be disappointed. Season 10 is my favorite season especially episode I think it was 7.oh also the Australian Survivor is 24 episode seasons most are alsobover an hour each episode.

The post covid - 26 days, numbered seasons (filmed only in Fiji) lost much of it’s original allure, for us. It seemed like they really ‘cheaped out’ in it’s production costs, with an excuse story of how they’ve made it ‘faster and harder’ - etc. With no more decent rewards > for the reward challenges, no more loved one visits, and the contestants seem only to be chosen from the ‘dullards’ list. It was great while it lasted > but > I think we’ll stick a fork in it now…

Not a bad for a 70’s “blacksploitation” movie. Great premise and performances especially by Richard Pryor. Would be a good movie to remake about today’s fentanyl epidemic and the Feds/politicians getting paid by the cartels to let it fester. Sadly it would never get backing/made in today’s Hollywood.

This feels almost like a series finale, but I hope not. Can’t find any news on a Season 6 yet, and Season 5 started filming last July, so we’d have heard by now, I think. I’d like to see it come back another season.

This turned out to be pretty good, gave it 5 stars. Been a long time since I read the book, but from what little I remember, it seems like it followed it fairly close. Pretty good adaptation, and was well worth a watch.

I streamed it high with my dog and loved it! Like watching security footage of myself, except my dog doesn’t talk as much. :-)

must admit i liked it from episode 1… Its a bit sci-fi but not stupidly intricate that a normal persona cant follow it…I actually like the caracters on the show and for the most part i dont mind the acting itself. Dont forget iam one o the people that DONT want to see good acting.. i want to see a person thats awkward speaking to a crowd, that has trouble making a decision and struggles with life and death decisions… for me that IS good acting…..Isurely hope there will be a season 3, but no notice so far… i think if there will be a season 3 we might actually have to wait less then 18months for it…

This also gives the showrunners plenty of room to dive into further seasons if the series proves itself to be a hit. They have cleverly not backed themselves into a corner, leaving enough room until the familiar NCIS then comes into the picture. Mark Harmon, who portrayed Gibbs in that first run, will be returning as an older version of the character. In a break from convention, Harmon will be providing the narration for the show, allowing fans to keep track of what’s happening and giving them a view into Gibbs’ mind. Love how the mole revealed his entire plans infront of the two exterior guards to Jacks prison cell and walked them right past both said guards LMAO. Love this show though.

It takes a lot to render me speechless these days but that did it for a good ten minutes after it was done. Wow, I mean…wow. Bizarre, insane, grotesque, twisted…brilliant. Film of the year by far.

Yup, there it is. Like I just told AmieWarren, I can’t remember how far I got in season 1, just that it was really bad. She said it got better around the 4th episode, but I just don’t see it considering how bad it was as far as I had already got. Nothing can be that bad and get better, unless Kryptonite can reverse polarity….

Just started watching this, only about 45 minutes into it, and have to take a break, been up since way too early and need a nap right bad, but so far it’s pretty good if anyone’s interested. Just at the 30 minute mark it’s starting to get to the serious parts, and I believe they are doing justice to this so far.

Season 1 got better as it went along. Like so many series nowdays. it seems to take them three or four episodes to get to the meat of it. Give it another chance. IIRC, it starts getting interesting around Ep. 4.

Seriously not understanding this. I remember trying to watch season one, sucked so bad I only made it a couple episodes in, then had to stop. Others made it a bit further, but the common conses was this was so horrible that there was no way there would ever in God’s green would there ever be a season 2…

Now, here there is a season 2. Well, O.K., stranger things have happened. Power Rangers took off, so there’s that. Now it seems that everybody is loving this. Never watched an episode of the second season, so please explain to me how the first season could make so make so many people want to suck start a pistol, but the second season seems to want to make people want to go out and start a collection?

Why just why nobody was asking for a special from this show and nobody is asking or Warner Bros Pictures and HBO Max to release however many more episodes that they have banked and ready to go and the very fact that it took them until a few fays before the specials release to release the trailer just goes to show that nobody at the studio has any more faith in the Velma TV series.
