Just what we need…another Medical Drama where the main character is a Doctor who is a “renegade” of modern medicine. Where the main character is so Kookie and “sees” things differently then those around him and the SFX are all so funky looking.
The commercial for the series is cringe worthy.

Yeah if you would watch it for the “characters” of House or even Sheldon you will come out on the losing end as there is nothing like that in here. D House for me always was like a medical comedy and this is meant a pure medical drama….as you mentioned in your otherpost Wolff is “bland” and i think only the last 10sec of the 2nd episode migh make him more interesting, but i agree that you dont watch this for laugh or a schuckle like you could do with House.

Another Agatha Christy mystery made into a tv series but no release date yet. Sounds interesting and will have to keep an eye on this for a release date.

Another spin off is in the works even though Lone Star was cancelled. With one “9-1-1” show on its way out, another is on the horizon from Ryan Murphy. Tim Minear and I are working on a new spinoff that we’re actually writing, and that we hope to get on the air next fall,” Murphy tells Variety. Hadn’t watched the show in years but watched this episode because of our relative interests.

why did they end it like that, it goes against the whole point of the original movie from what i remember. the feeling of hopelessness etc can not recommended it, go watch the original if you haven’t seen it already.

Colin Farrell as ‘Drax’ in this excellent mini series, is his best ‘fat suit’ role (imo ~ haha). He’s fatter than The Lobster! AND The Penguin! A brilliant-bleak > must watch… :)

Not as good and thrilling as the original, and they changed and fucked up the ending. Unnecessary remake.

I found this series quite enjoyable. I always like a show that can take me by surprise.

It’s considered cool to trash this show. I challenge anyone who thinks could have done it better to tell me how. This is one of the best fantasy series I’ve ever watched

I haven’t watched this yet but because of the comments I intend to.. Having said that.. I loved Dr House and hated him.. and I also had the same love/hate for Sheldon Cooper..they are cut from the same cloth and both carried it off brilliantly.. which I feel is way above other actors in that not many could do it.

Not a blockbuster but it did keep my attention. A decent watch.

Oliver Sacks is well-known in neurology/psychology, which is why he’s familiar to me, though I know not everyone has heard of him. To be clear, I wasn’t commenting on the quality of the series, which is why I mentioned I haven’t watched it yet—I was just providing context (he was an interesting person). I definitely didn’t mean to offend you or anyone else.

I just hope this Halloween seasons brings better movies than this.

Truly entertaining plot twisted plot twists, majority were predictable if you paid attention to the dialogue. Now to check in with the sequel, Be Cool.
