Well.
That was weird.

2 Episodes in and this is looking very good. I’m not sure whidch direction they can take it over the life of the series without Batman taking Penguim down,
I tried to get through the two episodes but my mind kept wondering out of boredom… i just couldn’t muster enough interest to follow. Because of the comments.. I was expecting similar characters as Dr House and/or Sheldon Cooper. Imo there is no similarity (personality wise) in any manner… Unfortunately and disappointingly, this series is not my cup of tea and I really wanted to love it.. To me, Wolf is extremely bland, where Cooper and House were absolutely brimming with brilliant and entertaining, even though extremely aggravating, personalities.
Times up for Time Bandits. How awkward. One season pleasin for the least demanding audiences.
I got excited when i heard Scottish, the only language I’m good at and they last 5 mins. Not gonna lie tho it could have been better. at this rate they should be avenger level hero’s on the other hand even at its worst its better than most show out there. I enjoyed it.
Ohh, I remember this. It’s pretty good as I recall. Charlie Brooker wrote it (the creator of Black Mirror anthology series)
I wasn’t trying to correct anyone, just sharing some context I thought might be helpful for those watching the series. Oliver Sacks is well-known in neurology/psychology, which is why he’s familiar to me, though I know not everyone has heard of him. To be clear, I wasn’t commenting on the quality of the series, which is why I mentioned I haven’t watched it yet—I was just providing context (he was an interesting person). I definitely didn’t mean to offend you or anyone else.
I haven’t watched this yet but because of the comments I intend to.. Having said that.. I loved Dr House and hated him.. and I also had the same love/hate for Sheldon Cooper..they are cut from the same cloth and both carried it off brilliantly.. which I feel is way above other actors in that not many could do it.
I’ve known nothing about Mozart other than the basics and even less about classical music my entire life… I thoroughly enjoyed this drama/documentary short series, it’s extremely informative, interesting and entertaining. My three favs!!
He Magiczoo… i do know where this series came from and tht was the reason for me to tune in in the first place. As you said “i have not watched it yet” i would advise you to do so before commenting or correcting other posters. Now after the second episodes and it could have gone “either way” for me in regards to the Dr House comment, but it went 100% towards Dr House…Its fine by me…worked for 15 seasons, right? (something like that anyway)… I dont mention other “weird” doctors as for instance “the good doctor” where the doctor is weird, but he uses actual science and knowledge that some who studies a lot could have. Here 8and in Dr House) the guy just says “lets stand on your head while drinking a cup of tea as i want to see how your body reacts”…. It is fun and i like it so far, but i wonder if there can be enough character developement although the last 10sec of episode 2 are definitely looking like they are wanting to dig deeper.

I know I posted a few weeks ago about there not being a season 2. But Prime Video has picked it up and according to what I have read, maybe season 2 starts on October 25th. Or, Prime could be airing season 1 which would start on October 25th. I’ll make a note to check and see if there is actually a season 2.
The Devil’s Hour returns for a much-anticipated Season 2 for more intense dramatic moments and a thrilling story. The upcoming new season will serve as a sequel and a prequel to the first season at the same time as Gideon’s true intentions with Lucy are revealed. October 18th is when season 2 starts, can’t wait!
I am a little “late in the game” when it comes to this series on Amazon. I had this one on my “To Watch List” ever since it debuted. Finally had the opportunity to do some Binge watching and burned my way through both Season 1 and Season 2…and man am I glad I did! This is an excellent Action series and I was impressed with how well it was done.
Now mind you, I haven’t read the Lee Child series of Reacher novels (Should I even both now after watching S1 & S2?) but really liked the storylines, acting/casting and action that has made up the series so far. Definitely looking forward to Season 3 and (hopefully) multiple (quality) seasons in the future as well.
Dr. House was an entirely fictional character inspired by Sherlock Holmes, while this show is based on the real-life neurologist Oliver Sacks. I remember that his book “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat” was quite popular in psychology circles when I was studying. I haven’t watched the show yet, but after reading more about him, it seems he really was quite the eccentric with his own issues.

If you like Reacher, listen up…..A Reacher spinoff is in the works & the series will follow Neagley as a Chicago private investigator. When she learns that a friend from her past was killed in a suspicious accident, she decides to investigate it for herself. She uses all the skills the 110 Special Investigators and Reacher taught her, which will mean some dangerous moments as she becomes hellbent on justice. This spinoff doesn’t have a title yet.

If you like Dr House this is for you…. it is basically a 100% rip-off and has completely the same look/feel about it… Dont expect anything new… its just something something mixed in a new jacket.. A “handicap” like “the good doctor” and a stubborn mind and social awkwardness like dr House and you got Brilliant Minds……

According to what is listed in season 5 here on primewire, a new episode starts November 11. But I found this info just now……The new season is scheduled to premiere on November 22, 2024
It is still unknown when the 5th season will arrive on Netflix, but indications are that it could be around late 2024. So, it is now October and guess we’ll just have to make a weekly check until the new season pops up.
For those of us in Outlander withdrawal, the new season starts next month, November 22nd. I’m quivering mass of anticipation!
Okay, I guess I have to be the ‘odd-man-out’ cause I thought that this was drivel. It was jam-packed with sarcasm, foul language and violence without much of a story. Marvel has finally cow-towed to the masses and given their audience mind-numbing bullcrap. Too bad. And what was up with having Channing Tatum play Gambit … he was the thickest Gambit I have ever seen. Gambit is tall and lanky and quick - and Cajun! Don’t get me wrong … I expected Deadpool to be well, Deadpool; but I thought that this movie would be so much more, especially with the resurgence of Wolverine. Instead, I got the ‘morning after’ rehash of some all night party. The best thing about this movie was the number of cameos.
We learn in the last moments Horace’s mental illness makes him an unreliable narrator, but, not because he’s untrustworthy.
Also, for the meat of the episode, I gotta wonder if Louis C.K.’s talking to us about himself… that this somehow foreshadows the stuff he eventually gets cancelled over…?
I’m only watching one ep every few months… it’s deep, but depressing.
This is hilarious, I’m glad I checed it out. Certainly worth giving a chance.
Aaah so this is why I’ve been seeing so many vaguely racist attacks on Coates the last 24 hours.
This is realy awful TV. Peter Jackson should have Mckay and Payne in court for copyright infringement for all of the shots and dialect that have been wripped of from his Hobbit and LOTR’s films. The Scripts is for a modern audiance, that sticks out a mile. The costumes are really bad. Moving the filming to the UK was a bad idea. Or they could have sourced better locations. Far to much Mown grass about for it to look realistic. I know that Peter Jackson set a high bar for Fantasy movies. But the $65 Million per episode is not being shown on the screen. Not to mention that the ‘back to the book’s’ wass all Marketing hype. Annatar is not Mentioned in the LOTR or the Appdices, so they don’t have permission to usesit. Yes I’m a Tolkien nerd!
Annatar, Lord of Gifts is discussed in Unfinished Tales. It’s in Part II: “The History of Galadriel and Celeborn.”
this show is hysterical. Very good writing great spoof of american pop culture
this was pretty good. And James is so buff! So if its for just him then you wont be disappointed. lol I love his evilness. 5/5
You know growing up, I used to think people that watched Stargate were kinda wierd, cause most times they were lol. But in this day an age, with all the gender swapping, and people identifying as cats and what have you, this isn’t so far out there. Super cheesey, but super good. Love it so far.
I too am watching the series for the 1st time, currently s06e19.
It’s watchable with a few caveats; the US military involvement in the show make it sometimes feel like I am being propagandized, the way that as the series progresses they kill more and more people and lastly how quickly they finish up some of the episodes that deserve better resolutions.
The moralising, Carter flies 2 remote bombs killing 8 people, we see the 1st 3 getting blown up in classic style footage. She never even bats an eyelid yet a couple of episodes later she is in tears because just 1 person dies who she knows.
At one point all I wanted was for SG-1 to get their asses handed to them.
Overall I’m enjoying it but it can be annoying. 6 out of 10 so far.
Yeah I wrote you an answer to your question if I liked, but the site went down when I clicked on send. ugh. It’s just sex, tension, competition, fluff, and shallow. However, the beach and surf is real, and I miss that, living on the Big Island, I miss nice sandy beaches. we got rock.
yea I know… but to homor the true part of hawaii some pigeon should be included. but to those that have never been here im sure its their get away. I just cant do it.
imo - so hollywood. No pigeon at all. And you know all local lifeguards dont speak this way. Ive listened even to our radio scanners and no where near this clear english. booo. Not impressed. but just my opinion. Only accent is an aussie? come on man! lol I couldnt finish it as it so doesnt represent hawaii at all except for the memorial cross. maybe it will go somewhere. But im out. 1/5

I’m going to have a love/hate thing with this show. Love because I lived there, and miss it terribly. The Big Island doesn’t have beaches like that. I know that water, know those beaches. Also know that Hollywood shows ruined the North Shore, starting with LOST. I could spend whole days where they filmed that, only see one other person. No can now. I don’t expect much of a high caliber story, but will watch it for the waves, and memories.
