Its been a long time I have been following this series even when PW was out. Amezing series so far loved the way it has come down to Seasons Keep up the great work hope the rest of capture it.

I really love this series. I think it could not be done any better. For a tv series it
s excellent quality. But, oh, the wait. After the next episode, (August 11) we will have to wait a year for the next 8 to finish out the season. Sometimes it is more than a year between seasons. Eight episodes done in less than 3 months; then another year to to continue the rest. Every time this comes back I question whether or not I want to get involved in watching because its so long in between. Here I am again glued to the story, not at all prepared for the long wait to come.Renewed already for season 7 12 episodes
Season 7? What happened to Season 6?
STARZ just announced Season 7 yesterday. They added that the show is currently in production on Season 6, which was supposed to begin last year but was delayed due to the pandemic.

Good news! Outlander: Blood of My Blood is the prequel! The series will examine the lives of Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Slater) and Brian Fraser (Roy), as well as the origin story of Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston (Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Irvine). Per the official description, “The series will center on these two parallel love stories set in two different time periods, with Jamie’s parents in the early 18th century Scottish Highlands and Claire’s parents in WWI England.
“We’re thrilled to be telling the stories of these two couples,” said Matthew B. Roberts, showrunner, executive producer and writer on both “Outlander” and “Outlander: Blood of My Blood.” “The origins of their relationships explore universal themes that transcend time periods and we’re so excited for fans to discover and fall in love with these characters and their love stories the way they have with Claire and Jamie.”

For those of us in Outlander withdrawal, the new season starts next month, November 22nd. I’m quivering mass of anticipation!
I watched one season after they got to America, but then got really bored with it. The first 3 series are amazing.
