TV stations should have an unwritten rule even if a show is cancelled it must have a conclusion episode i am so sick of being left not knowing
You mean you haven’t heard yet that Netflix picked it back up!?
repeating that has been renewed over and over does not make something true i searched and searched on google and could not find 1 article that said it was renewed only that they talked that is not a renewal
i dont think thats true
They were in talks. That much is true but last I heard, the deal fell through.
it’s been renewed now
I was just about to revise my comment haha
haha that makes sense. I’m excited for the new season I still have 3 episodes to watch though.
It’s official. Netflix has now renewed Manifest for a fourth and final season. Creator Jeff Rake announced it in a Twitter video. It will be a longer season with 20 episodes.
The final season will be split in 2 like Lucifer. I’m glad we will get a conclusion.
whoever thought up split seasons should be shot- w rock salt…repeatedly
It was originally sold to NBC as a six season planned series, so now with only four seasons (albeit one extended one), they’re going to either have to rush the ending or make up an entirely new one … neither way is probably a good option, but it’s what we’ll be stuck with.
Wow, this is great news! “The renewal being announced on today’s date has significance for fans of the show who have dubbed 8/28 “Manifest Day” since the series centers around Flight 828. Some had even speculated that this news would be revealed today and they were right. While the fourth season of Manifest does not yet have a premiere date, Netflix said to expect new episodes “in the coming months.”
i usually only start ended shows these days
so tired of shows “resting” to never be picked up again
but i was bored and jumped on this one,
lot of tearing my hair idiot moments, driving me crazy for sure
but all over a good show, i hope they get to finishing season
This season dragged a bit, but the ending…WOW! I think next season will be blockbuster.
Well that sucks NBC! Leave a massive cliff Hanger and not caring about the faithful fans.
You haven’t heard that Netflix picked it back up!? I just read about it the other day. Also I threw up a comment on this discussion letting everyone know the good news!
Just found out that this one has been CANCELLED!!!!
Hoping it gets a new home!
You can’t have 3seasons of a show and still don’t have a clue of what’s happening. The normal progression of most shows of a similar genre is “introducing new or bigger problems and questions while answering old ones”, this show didn’t do that. The writers didn’t even know what direction they want to take it in. Too many plot holes and unanswered questions and they eventually made it stale.
true I agree it was a bit slow getting places, but still it would have been nice an ending
It did get a new home. Lol. Netflix picked it back up. Google it if you don’t believe me. Just trying to spread the good news!
AWESOME!!! thanks for the GREAT news!
Makes sense because the show has not generated a profit but it would in the long run. Bummer too as it was getting better.
yeah just when things were getting interesting…down comes the AXE!!
I wasn’t too fond of the religion stuff though.
I don’t care what the comments are filled with! I’m glad it’s back! I enjoy sci fi series 100%
Its completely beyond me how a show this nonsensical can remain on the air, get renewed for more seasons when shows like Jericho get their legs cut out from under them. as if the plot lines themselves wer’nt laughable enough the acting is atrocious. It makes David Caruso’s C.S.I. Miami feel like Shakespeare. And I swear the kid, who’s basically the central focus of the story, has got to be the producers child or something. During what are supposed to be dramatic scenes he reads his lines with a smirk on his face, IDK maybe he can’t beleive people actually watch this BS either.
“It makes David Caruso’s C.S.I. Miami feel like Shakespeare.” That’s too funny. Also Jericho was so good and the cast was amazing, such a waste.
I quit before season 1 was over also, then sadly I went back . Only cause of a lack of anything else to watch. I love a show with a continuing mystery, I just don’t know how lost could get it so right and this pile gets it so wrong. Esecially since this show is so clearly inspired by lost. “Cal’s” father on the show is not much better of an actor either, and the more I think about it the best actor of all of them may have been the guy his wife was having the relationship with while he was gone. Of course they had to write him out so as not to make everyone else’s acting appear so sub-par. My only guess is the entire show’s budget is spent on the FX and not the actor’s or the writers room.
Season 1: It started out great but as the plot progressed it’s become ridiculous, i’m feeling as though i might give up on this one.
2/5 currently.
kind of like the leftovers meets the good place if either of those shows loved to whack you over the head with foreshadowing and were way more pat (in a pretty satisfying way tbh) i had loads of fun watching this!
Can’t wait for season 2!
Hmmm not many reviews or comments for this show. Was looking to see if this show was worth watching since Season 2 is coming back tomorrow.
It is definitely worth watching.
Really had high hopes for this show at first, but it kept getting really disappointing and ridiculous the more it went on. Its almost as if the writer and show runners don’t have an idea of what direction they wanted to take this in. Too many plot holes, barely any explanation, disappointing dialogues and boredom fest. The entire 3seasons could have been summarised into just 5episodes and you still won’t miss anything.
“Overall” this show had so much potential for new ideas but it fails with its tedious weekly callings that go nowhere to add anything to what’s really going on….. It’s just semi-repetitive, if you ask me. …. Even the acting and characters are getting worse. But, that’s just my own opinion. I am curious as to how they are going to come back/explain from what we seen in the season 3 finale tho.
June 2nd-The final 10 episodes of the series. Got to remember to watch it tomorrow!
GLAD to hear that was wondering if it wouldnt end like the show Lost’’ CURIOUS TO SEE !
@Jaydamovieguy Unfortunately Netflix didnt pick it up .
You guys haven’t heard yet that Netflix picked it back up!? And not only that, the guy responsible for the show manifest said even if he didn’t get a network to pick it up, that he was already in the works of putting out a two hour movie just so the fans could get to see his whole vision
They were in talks but I believe the deal fell through
Looks like all 10 episodes have dropped! I hope it ends on a good note!
Glad to see this. Thought is was cancelled.
its a very compelling story that they have crappy writing for. I am through 2 seasons right now and there are so many plot points or characters that they forgot about, never mentioned again. The plot can move forward without those narratives being closed but it just makes future plot points less believable. It also got a bit “religious” or “fantastic” or “preachy” for me. instead of being a drama with a hint of sci-fi I feel like i’m being beat over the head with “callings”, or messages from god or some other universal purpose. that’s fine, but why does it have to be turned into something preachy? The relationships can also be annoying at several points, but for the most part they’re fine. it’s a show that’s entertaining enough but leaves a lot to be desired. you won’t be missing much by not watching it. i don’t know how it ends yet so i can’t say that it was a waste of time either.
