I just want to finally find out the truth, but I gotta feeling we won’t even though the show is ending. Every season is the same: Character xyz: “I’m done, Reddington. I want to know the truth. I’m not going to be used/duped by you any longer!! Reddington: “Stfu I’m Ultron”.
LMFAO I’m glad I took a break 6 eps ago. I’ll just skip to the end but seriously! PLEASE give us the TRUTH! Give it to us before I kick your Ultron a**!! Lol
—Like so many series, instead of giving the fans what they want and going down in greatness, they’d rather go down in flames!? WHY!???? Guess they’re not worried about anyone watching the next show they create. Damned selfish artists too busy trying to win over critics, never bothering to listen to the ones who actually make the show successful…their fans! I hate that! I will say some shows really go all out to give fans what they want; Supernatural(especially), Breaking Bad and Good Omens were exceptional endings. Then there are shows like G.O.T, it will always be remembered as being a great show but like the showrunner’s said, they couldn’t please everyone and they wanted to do the ending they wrote for themselves not what the fans wanted.😐Ummm yeah BTW- your welcome for making you rich and famous 😒 A-⚫! I’m pretty sure we all agreed on Queen B¡@[h dying a horrible death! Not in the arms of her Bro/Lover/bbddy, it was a big letdown in so many ways but still it was memorable so idk guess either way no such thing as bad publicity right🤨

I have always enjoyed James Spader as an actor and was eager to see this and now closing in on the end of the 7th season I am still a very big fan of this show.
With its novel (compared to most U.S. crime shows) approach to combating major crimes, some of which would be at home on that (ended) series ‘Fringe’, and the character growth of its actors, I think most people who are fans of crime, drama, action and anti-heroes will like this.
I have loved this show from day 1 as well, There are only a few shows that I really can’t wait for the next episode and have to watch them as soon as they are out, The Blacklist is one of them.
Well said. I, for one, have always been a sucker for a good anti-hero. And Red has always, in my alleged mind, been the best of the best. I have always felt that Red, and I doubt that this will turn out to be any kind of a spoiler, this is just my opinion, mind you, but have had this working theory that from the beginning he went into this when he was very young with the idea of doing what he is doing now, to take down major criminals once he got high enough up the food chain to have enough information to do it.
He had to do a lot of nasty things along the way to get there, certainly, but you can clearly see that he kept his humanity in the process. At least the parts that count, which is why people root for him. Even the task force likes him. That says something about the man, even though it’s a written character, he was written to be that.
Maybe that will come out to some extent in this last season, or maybe I’m totally wrong, and it will turn out to be something totally different, or maybe I’m partially right, who knows? Either way, it’s been a great ride.
She’s not dead. We won’t see her again until the final episodes. They will keep her in hiding. But she finally realized Raymond is her mother. fun stuff.

I was a bit skeptical about watching this series because I hadn’t heard about it for some reason??? But seeing that it had so many seasons I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve watched the first 4 episodes and I’m really surprised to say that I have a new found respect for James Spader. He is utterly brilliant! He’s an actor that was never really on my radar but I’m so glad I found this show - lots of seasons to binge watch :) I agree with some of the comments about the Elizabeth Keen character being a bit too much - but thanks to James’ larger than life performance, it’s a bit easier to not allow her to ruin my enjoyment :)
I just saw that The Blacklist was renewed for the 9th season. The way season 8 has been going, I thought for sure this was the final season. Go figure. The actress/character of Elizabeth Keen has not been viewed for several episodes (in name only), I wonder what is up with that?

This show just gets more ridiculous by the week and the main fault is Elizabeth Keen. For a start the FBI are the most incompetent idiots who, over the series, have all committed crimes making a mockery of being law enforcement. The location of the so called secret FBI base is the worse kept secret and Keen escapes from it every time. Keen’s mother turns up and basically lies, uses her and puts her life in danger and in the short time she knows her we’re supposed to believe Keens love and attachment for her sends her over the edge and into becoming a global criminal genius. Give me a break. All of the FBI characters are awful but Keen is one of the worse and most annoying and unbelievable characters in TV. This show needs to quickly take a different path where it’s just about Reddington and the FBI involvement needs to go.
Question!!! I stopped watching this show after season 2. Should I pick it back up? I didn’t stop watching for any reason really I just want to know if it got better or worse.
I think this show has had its ups and downs but it’s still worth watching. I love it and always wait with anticipation for the next episode. However, if James Spader ever left or wasn’t playing Red, the show would not be the same. He makes this show in my opinion. So yes, I would continue to watch.

I’ve been really enjoying this series but have to say that the second half of Season 4 is really making it difficult to watch :( I think the Mr Kaplan storyline was a big mistake and a complete waste of time - it’s actually really annoying for a viewer to sit through and I’m hoping it will end soon so we can get back to enjoying a really intriguing and entertaining show! Note to the writers: what were you thinking with this really stupid storyline!!!?!?!

According to some websites The Blacklist has been renewed for SEASON 9 :) and that’s not the real good news!
The real good news is that finally we will be rid of the Elizabeth Keen character once and for all as the actor is bowing out and will not be in it any more after Season 8 :) :) It’s a long time coming and she was the only part of the show that was really difficult to watch - I’m soooo glad she will not be there to take all the attention away from everyone else. It had become the Elizabeth Keen show and has actually made me STOP waching after Season 6 as I got sick and tired of it…
This news has given me a great buzz and I will go back to watching and look forward to the end of Season 8 and Liz Keen :) YAY!

Does anyone know if episode 13 actually aired? Have looked on several lites for this, and believe it was supposed to have aired already, and can’t seem to find it anywhere???
Elizabeth was by far the best character!! Ressler is the only other one I remotely care about, the rest of them are ok at best. Liz should have taken over for Red four seasons ago. If so maybe Megan wouldn’t have left the show. We’ll see…season nine just started.
