Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York Police Commissioner and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son Danny, a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his loyal and tough partner, Detective Jackie Curatola. The Reagan women in the family include Erin, a N.Y. Assistant D.A., who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, and single parent to her teenage daughter Nicky; and Linda, Danny's supportive wife. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, a recent grad of Harvard Law and the family's "golden boy." Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie has decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop. |

they should rename this to 15 years of pure unadulterated boredom, seriously same old crap every season just like eastenders emerdale coronation and all the other crap and yet brilliant shows get cancelled every time
The same year this came out, so did the Chicago Code with Jennifer Beals. imo Chicago Code was far better than Blue Bloods … better writing, better acting, etc.
But ofc it got cancelled so that Blue Bloods could stay on for 15 seasons of boredom and monotony.
my point exactly…its like they dont want us to watch anything good anymore
New season begins tonight!!
There could be a spinoff after the final season. This is the first indication that Blue Bloods may end up extending its life beyond the planned season 14B that airs this fall. Cast and producers have been upfront on how they feel the show still has life to it and shouldn’t be canceled just yet. While CBS has confirmed they won’t change their minds about the cancellation, a spin-off could be the key to continuing the franchise a bit.
A spin-off could be nice. Maybe a grittier version following Joe?
Oh, I hadn’t thought of that and it would be awesome and maybe learn more about Joe Sr.
Ooo, like a split timeline? How the son mirrors the father he barely knew. That would be cool
I was watching a Jon Bon Jovi video for It’s My Life and I had to pause it to get a good look at the teen aged boy in the video. And low and behold, it was Will Estes! I’m sure some of you heard how Jon Bon Jovi talked a lady out of jumping off a bridge on Wednesday. I do believe there are living angels amongst us!
