Ive been tryin to stick with it; but its just so bland :l
The movie was great. This is nothing like that.
More like an episode of law & order mixed with a soap opera mixed with the train from snowpiercer :l
I’ll stick thru to the end of the season (ep 7) but its really rather meh
I really love this series. I also really liked the original movie. And I’ve read several comments from people who think that the movie was absolutely better than this series and I can completely understand where they’re coming from. And in a way, I agree. But also, I think that the series differs from the movie enough so that for me, I look at it as a separate story, independent from the movie, and therefore not really comparable. In other words, comparing this to the movie is like tying to compare apples to oranges; Yes both fruit lol, even cousins sorta… yet different species entirely. Hehe. So I totally get and agree that the movie was awesome— new/original idea and story, and that this series isn’t as good as the movie. But I think that looking at this series as a new idea and story and not looking at this as a sequel, reboot kind of series, that on its own… I think it’s awesome! Fun and intriguing story and subplots, interesting characters, extremely awesome mini or condensed worlds in each sections/cars, very interesting fashion, music, alternate world history, and etc…!!! I think this series has a lot to share and I’m super excited to learn more about the story, characters and the world in which they live!!! I have no idea if this series will live up to the hype I’ve just given it hahaha but I am hopeful it will come through and serve up some good cinema! Either way, I’ll find out soon! Only 4 days to go until season 2 begins!!! Dun dun DUHNNNN! Hehehe
I give up on this, it is well written, shot, acted etc. but it is a pig in a poke. They have taken a science fiction movie I liked and turned into a cop show, they may as well shave the stars head, stick him in a buick century and call him Kojak. Disappointing.
you should def give it another chance, it took a turn and is def getting better. I thought the same thing but I gave it another chance and kept watching. it does have a cop kinda feeling, but it gets really good.

the movie was amazing and captrued you from start to finsh. TV show is in no way shape or form even close to being good. i had to stop watching this show after 10 or so minutes.

It’s BAAAAACK!!! Had given up on a season 4, and it just showed up on my schedule.
I thought they’d cancelled it? Damn pleased to hear they the powers that be haven’t cancelled this to fund some new reality TV abomination.
From the fist episode, it’s going to be a whole lot more interesting than before.
If you’re a Sean Bean fan, Amazon has ordered “Deep Cover,” a U.K. original action-comedy movie starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, Nick Mohammed, Ian McShane. The Prime Video film sees three improv actors hired by the police to help stage low-level stings. “Their instinct to ‘always say yes without breaking character leads them deep inside the London criminal underworld,” according to a plot description. No release date and will soon start filming.
If you’re a fan, good news! “Snowpiercer” Season 4 is set to air on AMC following its TNT cancellation last year. The fourth installment of “Snowpiercer” will air on AMC and AMC+ in early 2025 as a part of AMC’s acquisition of the exclusive U.S. linear and streaming rights to all four seasons of the post-apocalyptic drama series. Ahead of the Season 4 launch next year, the first three installments will stream on AMC+ later this year.
Looks like on July 21st will be the final episode and we learn the fate of what happens once they find a new home off of the train.

There are so many comments about how the movie is better… I was beginning to think I might be one of the only ones who likes this show. I thought the original movie was awesome, but I also am really liking this series!! I think this has great potential! And we’ll find out soon enough! T-minus only a couple of hours I think!!! sci-fi post apocalyptic Murder on the Orient Express? good so far
I went into this not knowing what to expect, having not seen the movie. I binge-watched the first season, and have been watching weekly since S2 started. <3
I like it and it got better when Sean Bean came in for Season 2
It got worse when he showed up.
One of the best shows on TV, imo! It says a lot about society and the world we live in today. The only living things left on Earth are all on one giant train. It’s a fragile ecosystem and you would think that after the world was basically destroyed that the survivors would have a little solidarity but NOPE! They go back to the familiar old ways of a class system where the rich live in luxury and the middle/lower classes are the ones that keep the train running. There are a lot of interesting character arcs and some powerful moments. Eventually things go off the rails!! (just a pun, not a spoiler :P)
I’ve read the other comments and just wanted to say to any new watchers that it is NOT a cop show. I thought the same thing, that it was just going to end up being some cop procedural where they solve different train crimes, but that’s not the case.
Also, this show cannot be compared to the movie. I haven’t read the book, but I am pretty sure it’s completely different. The setting, backstory, and some names are shared but other than that the show is it’s own thing. The THEME of class struggle is what they all really share.
I imagine that this will be a much viewed series, as most will see it as relating to the economic, and cultural class differences in America. The writers will have a plethora of political issues to refer to. Will it be biased and push an agenda, or fair and neutral? Let’s watch and see!
def worth a watch. starts out a little slow, and after watching a couple u might want to give up, but trust me… it gets better.
Season Four is a total snore-fest - absolutely lacklustre performances and the script is mediocre. Barely made through to episode 2. Not going to bother with the rest.
I had know idea snowpiercer had a fourth season coming. Thought season three was the final, but anyway let’s get back into it.
WOW! The first episode of season 4 dropped even though it is supposed to drop on the 21st.
Season 4 - Uhh, Camera work looks like this is a bad 1980s BGrade Movie - but worse. All the close up work, is whack. Motion sickness, lol.
As someone who digs both Mysteries/Detective dramas and Post Apocalyptic shows, this for me is like those old Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups ads—two great tastes that go great together.
Each episode reveals something interesting about the Train, Mr. W, the caste/class system, and an the ongoing investigation.
expected it to be bad turned out to be great especially a few episodes in 9/10

Ur thinking of the Movie that came out in 2013, this the Show that just came out… and from what i’ve seen so far there mos def going to be some changes.
i dont mind this - i havent seen the movie (will def look it up ) so yeah its not great and its not crap its very in the middle - after 2 episodes the acting again is ok but nothing great but has peaked my interest i am curious where they will take this 6/10 but i gotta say the avalanches are still bothering me -119 degrees outside temperature and we have snow capped mountains
Watch the movie and you’ll see what we all mean. Maybe if this wasn’t related to what the movie and source material established it would get a small pass.
