Ninety-seven years ago, nuclear Armageddon decimated planet Earth, destroying civilization. The only survivors were the 400 inhabitants of 12 international space stations that were in orbit at the time. Three generations have been born in space, the survivors now number 4,000, and resources are running out on their dying "Ark" - the 12 stations now linked together and repurposed to keep the survivors alive. Draconian measures including capital punishment and population control are the order of the day, as the leaders of the Ark take ruthless steps to ensure their future, including secretly exiling a group of 100 juvenile prisoners to the Earth's surface to test whether it's habitable.

I’ve somehow watched all 7 seasons of this show that have aired so far, and it truly runs the gamut from cringy to, well, genuinely good sci-fi.
It starts out as “Dawson’s Creek: The Apocalypse Years”, spends a couple of episodes doing its take on The Walking Dead’s Woodbury storyline, then dives just wholeheartedly into GoT territory for a while. But once the //SPOILERS AHEAD// underground Roman-gladiator cannibal survivalist people resurface and engage in a war with the thawed-out mining prisoner murderer space people and //SUPER SPOILERS AHEAD// blow up the earth again, make friends with each other, then head to another planet, it really starts to come into its own..
If you’ve read all that, you should put up with the cringy bits and watch it.
Yeah, that actually about covers it. Didn’t think that could be done with that few words, but damn, you actually did it. Kudos.
good ending, will miss it
i stop after season 3-4 the post apocalyptic felling just wasn’t there
anymore started off like lost ended up like river-dale
Great series☺️
New Season! It seems like ages ago since the last one and the story line of last season sort of lost the plot (or maybe that was me) Glad to have it back I was running out of things to watch on certain days
It’s sad to know that next week will be the series finale and with that, either the end of humanity or the beginning of another generation that will help heal the world. After finally getting to the point of what the “Shepherd” has in mind fir humanity, I’m curious to what will actually happen. Will they time travel back to a time before the war, and stop it, or will they go forward, using all their experiences to help rebuild civilization, and bring back humanity, as they keep mentioning. Will the final stage be that of learning the truth about the test to be given, and will they succeed? So much to wonder about and so little shows to time left to get all the answers being sort. I’m looking forward to watching the end next week, but sadden that it’s here now. I’ve really enjoyed all the characters and turmoils they have gone thru, always learning more about themselves and what it means to be complete. As I was reading the comments, quite a few mentioned about the show “Lost”. I found out that you really need to watch it, like 100, from the very beginning, otherwise you get lost completely. So now that this show is over, as of next week, maybe I will check it out. I already know the ending, I think, but now I get to watch it from the beginning. Please no spoilers! LOL
Season 7 is epic

i love post apocaliptic stuff but this is a bit to much the OC and not enough jericho
I initially started watching this show because of Bob Morley, who is in a pretty good horror movie called either Road Kill or Road Train (available on youtube). I do love good sci-fi shows & movies, but I was sceptical of it being about juveniles (100 of them) being sent to earth after a radioactive war. I thought that the targeted audience might be a lot younger. To my surprise & happiness it turned out to be a very well written & well acted sci-fi with tons of mystery & dark undertones. I really believe the writer is trying to create a series similar to the sci-fi series “Lost”. Lost is one of my top 5 shows ever! If that was his intention, it definitely works for me! I definitely recommend this show to anyone, I don’t think you have to be a sci-fi lover to enjoy it! With that said, I also highly recommend the show “Lost” if you have never seen it! If you like “The 100” you will love “Lost”! 10/10
10/10 Great show!

hello,
well for me it’s a 3/5: good scenario, not bad actors and very nice landscapes;
I havea big problem with the credibility of it all on the other side:
people make love, still have kids, still “marry” … so the reproductive “system” is still there…
Nothing is explained on how they got to have a 100 troubled kids, full of hormones, drop solo on earth and the young guys don’t, none of them, go for the girls without asking permission ?!
Women, in a post-apo world are “dominant” warriors … not a single “rape” not a single explaination on WHY suddendly Men don’t have the Urge to take it on women when everything is going down to shit…
Cfr. Shows like “Jerico” where humans are “humans” in all the good and BAD ways humans are.
IF you wanna make a post-apo world for humans or you give a Good reason for that Primal need of sex to not Be there at all for noone (nor skykru, nor grounders,…)though Ego, Violence and need for destruction are still there … (all as Primal)
Or you make credible scenarios where it’s part of the “game” of having a destroyed human world.
But like this well… it’s gummybear land… not credible
The biggest first “Threat” in a destroyed and so Unsecured society without laws and instutions making sure these laws are respected by all equaly, without any “restrains” on the primal beings that we are, is one Fear and Threat that only Women would have : Rape. And all the psychological and physical pain it inflicts. (With the male Ego telling Him it’s his duty to repopulate the world and share his “seed”… hum! it’s clearly the first Big threat post-apo)
This TV show made me think of World of Warcraft ; where male players mostly choose sexy female Elf avatars cause Girl’s look more sexy in Armors than guys… Cause that important threat is totally missing…
Watched all the seasons hoping that with this or that population/part of “history” it would show up (eg : when they fell on the prisoners all murderers…) or at least an explaination of where it went… but nope, nothing.
gads, I lasted 10 mins this is utter sh*t terrible acting awful characters
This shit is still going? Lmao.
imo it could go forever the way it’s going. An apocalypse and redemption every season hooah
I’m starting to feel like I’m stuck in a revolving door…
The third season wasn’t all that great but it improved.
