Thought I would give this a couple episodes and ended up binging it in 2 days.Good acting good music and good story. It is well worth the watch IMO.Looking forward to next season.
Yeah this show is pretty good so far! I’m about halfway through and it started picking up more for me once it got to Ep.4 hopefully it continues to progress.

SEASON 2 CONFIRMED! On April 2nd, Netflix confirmed The Umbrella Avademy will return for another 10 episodes.

My favorite thing about this series (if you’ve read the comics you would know this too) is that Number 5 is exactly how he reads. Best casting job ever made for a comic book turned film/show ever.

Loved this show instantly after that cool/original introduction. Never read the comic but I think they really did an amazing job with this tv-show.
This is a great show! I hope season 2 holds up. It’s great to see Mary J. Blige, she had to give up singing years ago she was so ill.It’s good to see working again !
I think I’m the lone dissenting voice here, but frankly, this show sucks. The acting is decent, I’ll grant that, but other than that, the script goes nowhere, it contradicts itself constantly, it’s clearly not thought out at all, nothing at all is explained, and we’re two seasons in. Let’s not forget Vanya. She is the villainess and responsible for two apocalypses and we’re still supposed to see her as a good guy who doesn’t need to be held accountable for her actions?! This is a piece of crap show, and I’m having to force myself; to watch it. It could have been good and highly intelligent, but if you want your braincells to die, watch. For every intelligent person, this should be a hard pass.
Season 3 News. Netflix officially renewed The Umbrella Academy for a third season in November 2020. As of May 5th, 2021, they speculate that The Umbrella Academy season 3 might drop sometime in February 2022.

Just binged watched this for the first time. It went off track sometimes and got just weird, with no explanations of what happened to some people. Seasons 1 & 2 were good, season 3 not so great with the Sparrows. I think Robert Sheehan’s performance as Klaus was underrated. I’m glad they wrote Vanya’s transition to Viktor into the script instead of just replacing the character. The ending was not what I wanted, but it was a complete ending, with no chance of redos or spinoffs. I really wanted Five and Lila to go back to their timeline and live happily ever after, but alas, it was not meant to be. Overall, it was a great show, and well worth watching every episode.
On episode 4 of the last season. Going to have to force myself to finish this..its been boring and slow. And I keep telling myself it will get good. Hope it does. With only 6 episodes it feels so drawn out and boring.

really enjoyed s1 and iirc s2 had its moments too. came for robert sheehan and then obviously young aiden gallagher gave the breakout star performance out the gate. sadly the material has deteriorated with each season, s3 i found actively hard to get through. i hope s4 delivers something more worthy of the cast’s talents.
I think I underestimated how much I loved this! Only realized when I finished it. There better be a sequel to this sometime.

imo they kinda dropped the ball on the last 2 episodes writing wise but the surprise ending was a nice touch - a nice binge on season 2 with some great songs

The first 3 episodes of season 1 were good. The last 7 episodes of season 1 were just ok. Season 2 went full woke libtard. Seems like a pattern of most series nowadays. 1-5 stars. If you have an unindoctrinated brain, this show isn’t one for the long-term.
I’m leaning more that this is more a work of art then a show a thousand thumps up. XD.
