A re-imagining of one of DC's most beloved group of outcast super heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol's members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities - but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence - and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of Titans, Doom Patrol finds these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Hoo-rah! Season 3 time!

izcold 3 points 3 years ago.

I second that Hoo-rah!

Honest Review 4 points 3 years ago. 4/5 stars.

Good show. I like all the abstract, not your regular normal garbage, that this show offers. Some absolute far out trips goin on in here lol. Just finished season 2 and have to say both seasons were enjoyable. Brendan Fraser/Robotman is by far the star of this series. He is comedic relief gold. Also recommend Titans if you finish this and wondering what to watch next. Another excellent show if you like DC.

Just finished Season 3 and it was good but the first two were much better.

Love! Season 2, yay! :€~

RoboPhone 6 points 6 years ago.

Great to see Brendan Fraser working again! Déjà vu about Robotman! Wow! He got a whole replacement body. I’m jealous.

Iqbaldisouza69 3 points 3 years ago.

Far better than anything on CW network and really competent against any Marvel TV series. Very glad it got renewed for season 4.
You’ve to watch it to know it’s worth watching even if you aren’t a superhero fan, let alone a DC fan.

Most definitely more mature then any other super hero show, the nudity, swearing and violence is actually quite refreshing to me. Really liking it 3 episodes in.It doesn’t take things to serious and at the same time it doesn’t hold anything back.Under those circumstances I would be swearing constantly also, not that I don’t anyways. And a couple of bobs here and there has never hurt anyone. I was poked in the eye once, but I really didn’t mind. And violence is in everything, so there is that. Over all really enjoying it so far, looking forward to more.

If you haven’t watched it you should definitely check out Titans
It takes place in the same universe, and even has a crossover episode.
Very much the same vibe.

Honest Review 2 points 3 years ago. 4/5 stars.

I second that. Just as good if not a little better in my opinion.

3 eps in…best season yet!

JennyFromBlockD 2 points 4 years ago.

Dropped a few minutes into the 3rd episode of the 2nd season.
I absolutely loved the 1st season.
It was wacky, insightful, and downright bizarre.
However, this second season every episode thus far just brings me down. There are a couple of chuckles, but mostly dark humor, and I just feel depressed after every ep.
My own life is depressing enough; I dont need a TV show to further bring me down.

I fully agree. I love both his and Timothy Dalton’s work. I hope he gets his health issues under control and the hunk can come back- not just the robot.

Loving season 2 so far, things are more f’ed up then ever, which is a great thing, and Dorothy ,I don’t know who she is as an actor, she is just a kid so she might not have been in anything else, but she is amazing, and so adorable.I have wanted to punch things so many times so far in how she has been treated.Likely will many more times, and I am only on episode 2 of the second season. That is good story telling and acting, bringing out the feels. Definitely a keeper this one.

I thought season 1 was fantastic! Was really looking forward to s2 but after a few episodes it seemed to lose a lot of the magic and bigfun s1 had. Situations and characters got sillier, shows were dragging out, scenes seemed to be stuck in for no good reason except for filler.
Maybe the writers had planned on making only one season and s2 was written as they went along? Kinda seemed like it, anyway.
The only thing that kept me watching was to see how it ended but s2 seemed to just stop halfway through the season. I don’t know if I should blame the covid shutdown for that sudden cliffhanger ending- or thank it. Overall, I’m disappointed at the non-ending but glad it’s over.

This is the final season.

Blumsy420 1 points 5 years ago.

What health issues does he have?

nikkimckelvy 2 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Check out this article: https://www.littlethings.com/brendan-fraser-health-problems/
It explain some of the things happening to him. I’m not sure how much I trust it, but just looking at him he’s had some major issues.

so any buzz about when s4ep7 finally drops the wait sux i will probally forget untill years from now . this tactic always backfires when will they learn…….

gypsy soul -1 points 5 years ago. 2/5 stars.

Tried to stay with this til the last but my interest just fizzled out. I got through number 13 so I gave it a fair go. It reminded me of “Legion” a few years ago. I am afraid “Preacher” will suffer the same fate. 6/10

nikkimckelvy 0 points 4 years ago.

The show is being renewed for a second season, but Brendan Fraser will not be back as Robotman. How sad.

Jhigh03 1 points 4 years ago.

season 2 is set to debut on 6/25, did u mean it was rebewed for a 3rd season?

grasshopper rex 0 points 3 years ago.

Season 3 starts the 23rd.
