Season 4 is great so far, a worthy finale.

Yeah they unexpectedly changed their mind. There’s also a spinoff in the works because of course there is.

“Although the latest season has only just resumed filming, Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer have previously confirmed the sci-fi horror series will continue beyond its upcoming fourth season with the end already mapped out.”

As of May 21st, 2021, Collider reported, “Unfortunately it’s unlikely that we’ll see the release of Season 4 anytime before late 2021 at the earliest, and it’s more likely that Stranger Things Season 4 will be released sometime in the first half of 2022.”
To help curb fans’ nail-biting suspense, on May 6th, Netflix dropped a Teaser Trailer.

That’s good but totally sucks… Feels like an eternity!! Glad they are back filming and we get more than 4 seasons! Time is ticking away and at some point the show can’t hide their ages forever! Lol Puberty can really mess things up , hopefully they adapt to their ages and make them teens now because a lot can change in a year(Mike is super tall now)!Either way, whatever they do I’m so excited! A definite must see. Oh my god… season 3 is the best season yet! this is a must see for any fan of the series, or anyone that’s a fan of any 80’s genre. this series really pulls you back in time, and makes you feel like you’re sitting at the Hoyt’s theater, in the 80’s, watching a movie that just came out with your jumbo popcorn with extra butter. The way that the director and the writers can make you feel the emotions and sensation that you’re right there in the movie with the actors, sitting on the edge of your seat afraid that if you turn away for a second that you’re going to miss out on some key piece of the series , or even just something small, is just for a lack of words….sensational!

Stranger Things season 5 will be coming in 2025, but the biggest question on the minds of fans has been when exactly the season will arrive and how Netflix might choose to release it. Netflix has kept us in the dark for a while, but it seems the streaming service has a master plan in place that could see the season 5 release date being announced on Christmas Day. Stranger Things fans spotted that the Netflix France account promised fans that the release date was “coming soon” and rumors suggest the plan is for Netflix to announce the release date for the final season during the service’s NFL Christmas Day games. While unconfirmed, this honestly would make a lot of sense for a number of reasons.
Having grown up in the 80s it certainly takes me back to simpler & better times. Ironic that none of the kids were born at that time. Looking forward to season 5.
From what I’ve read Wynonna Ryder has been helping the Duffer Bros. keep the show period correct. They were born in
84 so probably only vaguely remember bits and pieces from the era (I was born in81 and am much the same). But she’s about the perfect person for the job seeing as she’s almost exactly 10 years older than me and coincidentally happens to be a mid-late 80s movie icon. lolI was in college in 1980 and it really wasn’t a simpler time. Granted mass shootings were not common but homelessness became a predominant issue and still is. I got a job after college at a radio station and had to play a lot of Big Hair band music. Aids was just hitting the news along with anorexia, drug use from the 1960’s continued on into the 70’s and 80’s and no end in sight in the 21st century. Even the 1960’s can’t be classified as a simpler time, Vietnam war protests/set-ins, Civil Rights marching, assassinations JFK, Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy. I think every decade has had to deal with unsettling issues. And to escape it all, we turn to tv/movies. I shall put this series on my list to watch later and it does look good!
S04 E08 & 09 aren’t supposed to be on Netflix until July 1st but Netflix Canada has all 9 available now…?

Christmas day has come and gone and still no release date….deep sigh goes here……..here is more news on a spinoff……When the creators of ST announced the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, they hinted that the franchise isn’t technically coming to an end. No plot information has been released yet but the series would presumably exist in the same universe since Stranger Things previously teased more stories about Hawkins Lab test subjects in season 2.
At least they wrapped filming, so that’s something lol. As you already saying it will release in 2025, but that’s a lot of days and months. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I watched a Season 5 behind the scenes that showed Linda Hamilton entering her trailer, Vecna’s return, Lucas and Max’s reunion, a slimy, menacing dark hole, walls engulfed by the vines of the Upside Down. Apparently the Duffer Brothers have hinted, “This season – it’s like season 1 on steroids.” I’m looking forward to it. Thanks for your update!
