@ThinMan there’s an excellent UK series along the same plot lines called In The Flesh, highly recommend. It’s a 5/5

Thanks! We were/are huge fans of that show. It’s along the same lines as this movie and came out the same year! It’s unfortunate that BBC dropped it the way they did. They got greedy around viewership and went with a Zombie reality show that never went anywhere, yet this show had a real following.
Understated, unexpected and highly underappreciated, this film examines prejudices, not necessarily the “zombie” pandemic. Imagine a world where we discriminate on any who is different or needs medication daily; diabetics, depression, gender dysphoria, addiction to alcohol, panic attacks, skin diseases, cancer, etc…. wait. What? We already do that. Watch this. It’s actually quite powerful. Don’t expect a lot of zombies, that would be missing the point entirely.
EDIT: spelling
Spoilers!! I’m surprised by the low ratings of this movie. I’m thinking it’s because of the mostly drama of the first hr. First zombie doesn’t appear till 1 hr in. That being said it’s incredible acting and fx by the zombie. Better than 95% of the sh!t we horror/ zombie lovers get. The scenarios are very well done and real as to what would happen in real life. We’ve seen it with racism and our own pandemic which was without a doubt the biggest sissy pandemic in human history and we lost our minds. Anyway fantastic movie but definitely a downer. Beautiful but sad ending.
