I loved it. I know all the songs. Sang along. Also could not take my eyes off Gaga…. was there anyone else in this movie? JOAQUIN WHO???

We had a bigger one growing up, can’t remember the actual size, was on a stand though, remember that, not really big though, remember watching a lot of cartoons on it, creature features stuff, Dark Shadows (had to sneak that though, was told I couldn’t watch that, it ‘gave me nightmares’, but never had a single one…), probably a 13 inch, give or take. Can’t remember the brand though. Worked really well, was a lot of baseball games played on that, growing up.
Was raised in Jersey, so the Met’s and the Yankees were the 2 big teams that got watched a lot, and we normally were able to get a pretty good picture of those most of the time. Of course, that was before the advent of cable and things like ESPN, and that all got monitized…
I remember watching Dark Shadows after school (first grade and on) with my Mom; I think it was the shared experience that helped make it so memorable. I know the TV was B&W and small, but I remember the story and characters… my mind really filled in the blanks.
I still have the LP and 45. Listening to the soundtrack on YT now.
Thanks for the memories!
I only gave this movie a 2 because of Joaquin Phoenix. His Joker is still very good, and he saves what little he could here. Lady Gaga is not at all fitting or in any way entertaining. It seems like a vehicle for her music and her image. She’s really lost the run of herself. I love Heath Ledger’s Joker, and appreciated how Joaquin Phoenix brought another Joker into the “legend” but with Gaga it doesn’t work at all.
This remake is simply awful. Not only is it nothing like the book from which it’s adapted, it’s not the least bit frightening. It feels like this director doesn’t understand (or dislikes) Stephen King and his telling of one of the most frightening novels I’ve ever read. Watch the 1979 version instead https://www.primewire.tf/movie/176461-salems-lot It’s truly skin crawlingly creepy and terrifying.

Nice. Dark Shadows is a far cry from Roadrunner, but loved that a lot growing up. Had an album of the soundtrack. Our favorite song was Back At The Blue Whale ♫
I was surprised how boring this movie was. There was everything needed to make it a really fun action flick: a great cast, an interesting and original premise, decently created action setpieces… But somehow the result was very mediocre. I blame Eli Roth.
The info may not be useful, but it’s fun trivia. Our first tv was a small Philco B&W about the size of my laptop. It had rabbit ears also. Made cool sounds when it was turned on & off - kind of like old 1950s sci-fi sounds. Later on, we used those as sound effects on an album ♬

So happy to have this back! I adore the quick wit and comedy of the original and this makes it seem as if, time stood still. I hope they keep it going for many more seasons! Long live Dr. Frasier Crane!!
Thank you but now that its out, the hounds have started. They’ll complain without watching it. its too funny.
I am glad Frasier came back. It is such a pleasant and delightful show.
R.I.P. Adar. The only sane person in whole Middle Earth in the second age.
Something else I didn’t know. Might be I should start to take the time to watch some of these ‘golden oldies’ that I never really saw from back in the day, esp. the B&W ones, not that I didn’t see my fair share of those, I started off with that and a set of rabbit ears until they came up with the great idea of color, the after that cable, and see what I see, starting to think I really missed something….

McCabe’s favorite toon he did centered around 3 foul fowls who stop at nothing in their quest for barnyard domination- each evil bird a parody of an historical monster during WWII.
This was actually a pilot for The Roadrunner Show, which never happened, so they released this as a theatrical short. Most Looney Tunes were about 7 minutes, while this one was close to 26, so it was their longest ever. They then divided it into two shorts for tv. The song from this was used in Roadrunner A-GoGo, & then stuff for To Beep Or Not To Beep, and later Zip Zip Hooray, but there’s plenty here never before seen since 1962.

This trailer looks pretty good. Going to watch this. Early prediction based off of the trailer the ending will have the uncle take the place of the father. Or something along those lines.
I think I was wrong but it was weird it zoomed in on his tattoo at the end and the wife gave that weird look to her “husband”. The entire movie the husband never takes off his shirt. I went back and checked. So not sure if they were implying it was a different tattoo or on the wrong side or just clarifying that the right twin died lol.
The only time Yosemite Sam had a twin brother; this is Freleng’s remake of Norman Macabe’s Southern Exposure.
So funny! The image of Wile E. Coyote getting squashed like an accordion will keep me smiling all day. Kudos to the uploader for posting this gem.
To Beep Or Not To Beep, Roadrunner A GoGo & Zip Zip Hooray are all sourced from the never aired Roadrunner Show tv pilot that was instead theatrically released as the 26 minute long The Adventures Of The Roadrunner, which hasn’t been seen in theatres or tv since.
Taken from the theatrical release Adventures Of The Roadrunner, which was originally intended to be a tv pilot. To Beep Or Not To Beep & Zip Zip Hooray are the other toons made from the original 1962 work.
I don’t know why I have been thinking this, but would love to see a lot of these old guys brought back, just as a goof in their own movie, like a spin off Avengers or Justice League style. Have no idea who would play who, Have Tom and Jerry and the whole bunch or as many as possible in them.
Would be great to watch, just for old times sake. Make it comedy style, but a bit on the serious side as well. No Idea why I have been thinking that aside from the fact that I miss these old cartoons, and would like to see them come back.

Rare Warner Bros Toon done for Public Health Services, which cost not just 3 cents a day - but 3 cents a week.
This one is interesting since Warner Bros put a Bugs Bunny cameo in it (using ideas from Swooner Crooner).

another remake, wonder how this compares to the original mini series.
One of the 1st Disney things we ever saw. Relevant in any society or time period .
I appreciate people are trying to be helpful posting links, but please CHECK first that it is the actual “Strictly Come Dancing” show, and not the spin-off show “It Takes Two”. The real show’s episodes are not available until Saturday and Sunday UK time, so any links posted mid-week are for the spin-off show which has it’s own pages.

Oh that is true but at the same time tho a show like this that’s based off of a very well known property shouldn’t be getting low numbers and the fact that it is should say that this show isn’t working but if you like the show then great more power to you.
I like it !! But I can’t find any french subs.. But I still watch it ! Its both English and french
Thanks. I rewatched Olympus is down and realized that I think I merge this movie in my head with the Channing Tatum one. London has Fallen was very …eh. I’m ready to check out this show now.
Hey man, to each his (or her) own. Like the song says, ‘If it suck’s and you like it, clap your hands’.🤣
Thoughts? should I rewatch the movies first? Is it worth it?

Cool, Hope its as good as the first one :) Thanks uploader !!! Doobie time :)
Wow. This really happened during my lifetime. Did some online research about the Schlichtmann lawyers. Very interesting climb they had to make during and after this horrible case. What an interesting group of people, lawyers and townspeople. The employees of the corporations under the microscope too. The deceit of shady business operations and procedure’s always catches up to the wrongdoing parties. Kudo’s to all past, present, and future environmental lawyers and the EPA for making sure the right people, companies, corporations are held responsible for the cancer pockets that still continue to show up in many communities, even with the changes to environmental protection laws over the last 60 years.
Well worth the watch.
This movie has almost nothing to do with DC’s Joker character other than the names imo. If that bothers you, then you should skip this movie. That being said, I really enjoyed it. It’s a very unique, one-of-a-kind movie that I couldn’t stop watching. A lot going on under the surface, Carl Jung’s idea of the ‘shadow-self’ and other themes in psychology. And yeah, it’s a musical - lots of great classic songs from decades ago. I will post a spoiler follow-up about the ending.
I’m really enjoying this show. This and the amazing race. The people are excited to see different people and countries. Why didn’t they have stuff like this when I was younger. Armchair traveling now. 😆

I think the ending actually sets up a new, more traditional version of the Joker, one that DC fans would be more familiar with. Arthur Fleck’s Joker is simply an inspiration, his version of the Joker sets up why people would ever follow or support a psychopath like The Joker in the first place. Fleck walked so other Jokers could run. But I don’t think the average “DC Joker fan” would have the mental fortitude or curiosity to sit through the whole movie(s) to figure all that out. I actually think these Joker movies could end up connecting to Pattinson’s Batman universe. It sucks that many will miss out on this because of preconceived notions
Oh man this was a disaster. Todd Philips shoulda just ended with the first one. In a different way this felt like what Disney did to Star Wars. Gonna be tough for me to watch anything with a Joker storyline now. Yuck.
Ironic that the show graphic changed to Adar today
