Fantastic movie and totally lived up to the hype for me. Pheonix is amazing and probably the best role he’s ever had. The ending and how they tied it into the batman mythos was pretty epic too. 10/10. It’s certainly a very nihilistic movie but that is the point, the joker is a nilihistic character. Whatever social commentaries aside, it’s just a very good film and another awesome take on a fantastic villan. I mean thats what it is after all. It’s the making of a villan.

Thought I was going to hate it, waited for DVD quality, gave it a shot because of Joaquin, then ended up really liking it all around.
Very good. Little slow at first but really picks up after the first 40 minutes. Phoenix was a great Joker. Ledger’s still my favorite but man this was close. Hope he gets an oscar for this though.
Saw it at the cinema last night and this is a movie worth every penny ! Best movie I’ve seen in a long time and the performance of Joaquin Phoenix is amazing and terrifying. Don’t listen to the critics because they are focusing on something other than the actual movie. I am going to the cinema again for a second watch. And I advice anyone who want the best experience to do the same ! :D
omfg this was everything promised!!!! so dark and disturbing. had me on the edge of my seat start to finish.this is no comic book movie. i so rarely give 10s but here’s a 10 out of 10 for ya.

Bar none: one of the most overrated movies of the decade; if not of all time.
I saw this in theaters, and was unfortunately greatly disappointed.
Forget the fact that this is a superhero’s villain’s origin story.
Realize it for what it really was: the story of one man’s descent into madness.
Now compare it to films that ACTUALLY fit its genre; not super hero films.
Movies like Taxi Driver, The Shining, Black Sawn, Jacob’s Ladder.
Now please tell me this film ranks up to films like THAT.
If you still tell me how its “so original & crazy” I will tell you how you are a liar.
The film lacked substance & depth and instead dwelt in a troubled man’s own infatuation with his own misery.
This was not the Joker by any stretch of the imagination.
Nicholson & Ledger & Hamil’s joker’s were literally JOKER. This was a pale shadow.
It almost seems like to me most people who say they loved this film only are doing so because they think that’s what they are supposed to say; like good little lemmings.

Y’all are so full of your own poo. From what I’m reading, you’re saying people can’t form their own opinion or at least not in the case of when reviewing this movie. Heath Ledger gave us the perfect Joker, we will always be comparing others to his. However this movie was great in it’s own right and Joaquin Phoenix did a fantastic job providing a new Joker, one which isn’t technically connected to the DC universe at that. I do think he purposely did not want to be seen as ripping off Heath’s portrayal, as should be expected and encouraged.
With that said I was never a big fan, or much a fan at all, of Joaquin Phoenix [until] this movie. I very much enjoy an artist’s work and that is what Joaquin Phoenix is, an artist.
Additional Disclaimer Crap: I watched this movie when it came out, without hearing media or other people’s opinions first. So your theory that I’m a good little lemming, following others, some fanboy or whatnot is thrown out the window here. I’m no exception to the rule I am sure. I am however someone who has their own opinion. I am sure my response will warrant tons of backlash and name calling or labeling. I don’t expect to garnish anything except further hate rather than productive conversation but I feel what I said had to be, and so here it is.
PS attack of the clones was a fairly good movie as well, but when I think of whether it was good or not I’m not comparing it to other star wars movies- same as I would not compare any movie. I would also not compare Joker to others such as Dark Night or otherwise Taxi Driver, The Shining, etc. I judge a movie simply based off whether I enjoyed sitting through it at the time. Why make this process into something so complex and loathsome? Unnecessary and only ensures dissonance.

Phoenix is great as an evil kook, as he had already proven himself in Gladiator, but the movie was not something I’d bother rewatching, mostly because it’s just too depressing for my taste with nothing remotely redeeming in it whatsoever. He’s not even criminally insane and driven by anything. He’s just mentally ill and pathetic and pathetic isn’t interesting enough. Pretty decent copy for a LQ cam, though. Thank you, uploaders.

Exceptional watch! The entire production is extremely good. This is a picture where every department of production comes together to create an exceptional cinema (viewing) experience. Writing, directing, lighting, acting, set deign, camera work, wardrobe, make-up. editing, etc … all of it comes together, a rare accomplishment these days: especially with a movie based on a comic book character.
I just saw this in the theaters. I love Joaquin Phoenix’s work. He’s a fantastic entertainer. He needs to be nominated for an Oscar for this role, but the writing could be improved. His acting is spot-on. It’s weird and sick and twisted and exactly what it needs to be. This movie will play with your mind- a little. Be prepared for nightmares.

Definitely an oscar winning performance.Personally I thought it was a bit slow but crazy doesn’t happen over night,and the fact that he is a victim,a product of his environment is right on point. Gotta love any movie where Robert Dr Niro gets a bullet in the head, along with obedient cops and the crooked rich politicians who have always used us only to subjugate us. Joker is a hero, the kind of anarchy an chaos needed in today’s culture. Make the real villains pay for their schemes and crimes.

I actually didn’t like it at all….I like Phoenix as an actor but I just didn’t like the movie….I enjoyed all the batman and dark knight movies but this just wasn’t for me…sorry….thumbs down from me.

Agreed on both points, currently, that site seems to have a monopoly on Movies still in theaters. Fortunately, the technology is improving to provide better HDCAM quality now than even a year ago.

This movie…lets be real; its highly overrated.
Forget the fact that it is a Batman villain origin movie. Forget super hero films; compare it to actual films that fit its real genre & plot:
One Man’s descent into madness.
Similar films would be Taxi Driver, Fight Club, The Shining, etc.
Now compare it to a film like those…especially Taxi Driver…would you still say its so avante garde? So good?
Heck…its mediocre at absolute best; and if we are all honest with ourselves: quite boring.

This did not deserve 9 stars. It’s probably been so long since Hollywood churned out a 9 star film, folks have forgotten when they are like. 6.5 on a good day.
The Joker was a common criminal who fell into a vat of chemicals…..and went crazy…right?
joker has 3 or 4 diffrent origian stories
Batman’s original one, yes. He was a gangster, Batman actually tried to save him from falling, but was not quite fast enough. Thought he died, but was wrong. Think this one is going to pan out differently then the one we are used to from the Batman mytho’s, though. Interested to see what they are going to do with it.

the very first one, 1941, he was a circus clown who decided to become a crook .. but those were much simpler times
He was the disfigured leader of the “Red Hood Gang” in one version and the chemical bath only changed his mental state. He was a lab tech more often than not, to explain his chemical knowledge. In one version he just wants to retire from his crap boss/job. Robs his work as the “Red Hood” and does the Triple Lindy into a vat of chemicals. In another he can’t support his pregnant wife with the chemistry, while doing stand-up he meets and is set up as a patsy by a gang, or some sh!+, to again rob his job as the “Red Mask”. The betrayal, ending in a Chernobyl-esque spa visit, causes a personality split that sees the joke in the absurdly violent, also due in part to his wife and child dying shortly before this. I think a couple of the versions I’ve read he had a wife and kid that was killed or died from corrupt police or tragedy, but the “Joker” never remembers anything fully after his chemical peel. In one version he is a straight up “G” and obsessively taunts “Batman” to lure him out. This ends poorly, because “Batman” carves the perma grin on his face and rats him out to the mob. I think the version where he kills “Jason Todd” in the “Killing Joke” is the most accepted version. Part of his charm is the varied backstories, it gives him the real aire of crazies, like he’s always squirming and can’t be pinned down.
There’s no official origin for him.

Saw this last night with my girlfriend and we talked about almost it all night. Joaquin of course is absolutely epic as Joker and 1980’s Gotham looks effing amazing. It delves into some heavy subjects that are relative to 2019 America in general but it doesn’t cram it down your throat…..don’t know what it says about my gf and I but we both kinda identified with Joker.

Ok, so this was a damn depressing, dark twisted tale of a mentally disturbed guy who is trying to just “fit in” so to speak, and this is probably the BEST origin story i have ever seen…i mean, WOW. The Joker has always said all it takes is “One bad Day”….poor Arthur Fleck had “One bad LIFE”…this movie actually had you feeling bad for the Joker of all people!! That is how good it was! I would be REALLY surprised if Joaquin doesn’t get some sort of Oscar nod at the very LEAST. Absolutely incredible!

If you liked this you are one of those people who let hype influence your opinion. They could have filmed 90 minutes of hot dog shit cooling down and you’d have tatted it on your neck and said “best movie ever!”
This movie is slow and boring. 95% of the movie is build up for the 5% of action in the end that was shown in the trailer. It all ends up just being a cautionary tale against child abuse and paves the way for an 80 year old joker fighting a 20 year old batman. Many will disagree with this but most of what I said wasn’t so much an opinion as much as it was a recap of this giant disappointment of a movie. People wanted it to be good so bad they ended up convincing themselves it actually was good.
A decent journey with a terrible finish. Not really worth the hype of being dark or twisted. Not Taxi Driver or Natural Born Killers or even the Dark Knight really. Not any JOKER level crazyness either but at the end does the JOKER even exist? Again a terrible ending 2.5/5

This was a movie about a man’s descent into madness. And the films you mentioned; or other’s like Black Swan or Jacob’s Ladder or Fight Club should show the viewer what a truly good movie about this subject looks like. And simply put, this wasn’t it.
Not a terrible movie; but not a great…or even good movie.
A solid 5 or 6 out of 10 MAXIMUM.

Movies often have different releases for different regions. The Transporter w/Jason Statham, for example, got pussified to PG-13 in the U.S.
I read somewhere that there were several different endings filmed for Joker, probably used one for the theatrical release and another for awards considerations…or it’s just regional again.

i had a debate with a friend of mine about this film after we saw it in a theater. in essence, we argued about whether the film was good enough to deserve its Oscar nominations. my friend said it did. i insisted that it didn’t.
then he asked what film from 2019 was better. i told him that the best film of the year wasn’t even nominated - “Uncut Gems.” (https://www.primewire.ag/movie/1332086-watch-uncut-gems). i can explain why the Academy didn’t pay attention in simple terms: Adam Sandler… who, by the way, does the best work of his career in this.
later, we watched the film. halfway through, he said to me, “it’s all right.” i said to him, “wait ‘til the end.” when the film ended, he said to me: “you were right. that was great.”
in sum, stop arguing about “Joker.” it was really quite dumb. with the exception of Phoenix’s work, the whole thing could be trashed. just do yourself a favor - watch “Uncut Gems.” you’ll know why one critic said of the film, “Long after this year’s so-called ‘Best Picture’ nominees have been forgotten, ‘Uncut Gems’ will be remembered as a masterpiece.”

It was a good movie, I guess, if your into the whole slow-burn dark drama stuff. Obviously I’m not. I still think Heath Ledger Did a better Joker. I’ll give it 3/5 stars for the sake that a lot of other people seem to like it.
You need to upload the TS version in a smaller file. I refuse to download any movie over 800 mbs unless it’s 3 hours + …. So do us all a favor and compress it to mkv then convert it back to mp4 and reupload. Also start using openload links again. Those are the only ACTUAL reliable links for watching and downloading. ALSO, reupload AHS 1984 - EP 5 in a smaller file. Should be around 150-200 mb but you only have 1080p links available? All at about 330 mbs for a 40 min episode? That’s bullshit. You need to take all this into consideration to provide the best experience on your site. And I cannot stress enough how annoying it is that you rarely use openload anymore. That is a MUST. Bring back the openload links and make sure videos are available in 720p AND 1080p for those who like to waste their data.
