Because this is so very different from what I usually watch, it took a bit to get into. I know nothing about the cultures, history, politics and different religions of India. It did not matter as the messages were strong and came through well. I was wrong in my concern of the story being depressing. It was a film filled with humor, insight and joy. I am so glad I watched.

As I was watching this new drama I kept thinking I had seen Giacomo Gianniotti in another drama. Then it hit me, he played Dr. Andrew Deluca on Grey’s Anatomy. I just finished episode 2 and it is a bit cheesy and the perfect somewhat mindless drama to watch when you really can’t find anything you’d want to watch.

Hey, did a little research, and come to find out, that blurb I saw was a psych out, unfortunately, they shot us a scene from season 5 episode 5, where they were on a train, doing some stuff, and tried to make it look like it was going to be in the last season. We got hoodwinked.
This was a storyline that was a part of a three episode thing that involved Mandy, which was actually pretty good, watched the first two again, and am about to re watch the third here in a second, but wanted to get with you to clarify. My bad totally for misleading. I was blindsided as well.
Sometimes the news you get on what’s happening with these shows is not all that it’s cracked up to be, and that’s what I was going by, so sorry about the misleading comments man…

I totally agree. I had hoped that having Roz in this episode would make it great.. but it seriously fell short. I’d love to see Niles and Daphne back. Their “son” is the most unrealistic character in the new series. Truth be told.. I wish they’d lose the college and head back to the radio station. it lent it self to sooo much more funny comedic situations.

Yeah, hope you are as well, saw them just before the season (last one) came out, was on a (actually several had this) ‘magazine’ for stuff like this, and they were showing clips for the show, prior to it’s being aired. At this point I am not really sure if they will come back with the rest of the season, considering that they certainly left some things unresolved, and most seasons had a lot more episodes, or if they just decided to switch up and leave it here. But truth be told, and think I might have left a spoiler comment in the start of this, I thought that Jason was going to go down fighting with his last breath, knowing that he had that brain issue that was going to stop him from operating, and now that his kids were grown up and taken care of, and he didn’t need to worry about them, and they were out on their own, he could just die a SEAL, Saving his team, saving the mission.
That actually would have been a fitting end for him, truth be told, as that’s the kind of ending that would be fitting for the kind of guy that Jason Hays was, a total warrior, and not the kind of guy that was prone to be laid out to pasture with a brain injury that he couldn’t deal with. Something he just couldn’t fight. Not the way any SEAL should go.
Anyway, we will find out soon enough if they will leave it this way, or if they will continue on with the rest of it, I’m hoping they they will continue on with the rest of it…

Thanks. I waited for the HD release. Glad I waited. I enjoyed it. Everything I expected it to be. Bob took it over the top. Thanks Bob! I’m sure some little glip glop sand worms will down-vote my comment but to me it felt like the prefect sequel to the original movie. What were the clowns hating on it even expecting? Star Trek? MacArthur Park forever.

I have not looked myself, but would like to see that. Seems to me if they end it here, they abridged it greatly, as The team leader was having some serious issues that were left unresolved for one. And I distinctly remember that there were scenes shot that they showed where they were on a train getting ready to take down some terrorists, and figured that would probably be in the second half of the season. Normally this show has a lot more episodes for a season.
Might be it says ‘ended’ on the thumbnail, yet the season is still not over? Who knows, well find out eventully..

Danish/norwegian version was much much better than this remake( OK McAvoy was perfect) but the ending sucked ,other version is more reality based were the couple stone them to death at the end kills the boy and takes the girl to their paradise home were is at least 10 more kids !!!

Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Hazel Court (va-va-voom!) and very young Jack Nicholson. Classic Corman’s fantasy (not really a horror but than again it has Boris Karloff in it) flick.
So I just started watching ‘Found’. Not the same of course but it has enough similarties to be a good companion show. The Irrational is my jam though. You know its rare for network TV to not cancel good shows. Still missing Quantum Leap.
