Couldn’t be over, could it. Stretching it out as much as possible. We’ll see.

The Endless (2018)

This film is all kinds of crazy. It’s a top tier cosmic horror film that will mess with your mind. This film proves that you only need a simple premises to go off of to get a story going. No need for jump scares, those get boring and cliche after a while. This film does it right. So if you’re looking for a film that will make you jump…. you won’t find it here. This is one of those slow-burn gems. I highly recommend The Endless. It’s a great film. 5/5

O.K., not going to give your comment a rating yet, until I have the time to watch this yet, might be a bit, but you now have my interest…the over the top IMDB ratings with low votes tend to turn me off, but a good comment could often mean the difference between a good or a really bad flick. Once I get to this, I will give your comment a rating, up or down, and will comment myself on this flick, for what it’s worth.

If it’s good, might be others that might not have watched it will get to see something they might have otherwise missed, and if it sucks, there’s always that. Peace.

It’s still way too soon for anything to be released about the investigations into it. My guess would be that he hoped to kick off a civil war.

I hope in his next segment he investigates Thomas Matthew Crooks and why he did what he did.

I decided to watch this again and it was just as good this second time around. P.A and the man that plays Lyle. I feel so bad for this guy. He’s completely oblivious to everything that is going on and just wants his wife to love him. Knowing this is about really people he was the only person I felt bad for in this story. Everyone else working in the Penn. or not are savage, antisocial ingrates.

Just noticed this is on here. For anyone that is curious, this is (for now) free to watch on viki, I watched it right after the netflix one.

This is miles better. I won’t go into details, because this isn’t the right place for it, but I wanted to drop the netflix version a lot. The simp character especially was annoying af and D&D just suck the life out of any adaption they do, just like they did with Game Of Thrones. Problem is, this is also much more in line with what you typically see in asian (Japanese, Korean, Chinese) dramas, which most western folks will be unfamiliar with. It’s cheaper produced (and looks like it) and it has tons of other issues you see in pretty much all asian dramas. Once you come to terms with that though it’s honestly amazing. 10/10 for me personally (yes, seriously), but objectively this ist at least like 8/10, while netflix was (generously) a 4/10, at best.

I was curious about this version of the story. I watched the first 2 episodes here and found the last episode on youtube.

I can’t imagine what is going on from episode 3 to 29. I’m not going to watch them. I was surprised that much of what’s going on in episode 30 was dealt with in earlier episodes of the Netflix version. I just don’t have that much patience.

I love love loved.. kept going back to watch each scene again because it is so full of tiny details that I missed. Had never watched anything Marvel until Wandavision…. that was super fun. The costume changes alone make this worth watching… and listen carefully to everything that is said.. it all leads to something bigger. Have fun!

Transformers One (2024)

The Legend of BADASSATRON is born. Very good flick. Basically an origin story of one of the best cartoons and toys of my childhood. Good animation, I had honest laughs a few times, not too childish, not too adult, it hit the sweet spot. Might have preferred lesser known or OG voice actors, it was a little distracting hearing familiar voices from well-known actors…but they did a good job in their roles, particularly being ‘younger’ versions of these iconic characters. I’m not sure how accurate some of the story was, but nothing stood out as glaringly wrong from my fading memory of the cartoons and comics.
4/5 Not as strong of an animation movie as say the Miles Morales Spiderman, but well worth a watch for any fan of Transformers…better than some of the live action movies.

Most people want that, though. That’s one of the main reasons they have religions. Few can cope with the reality that life is chaotic and unpredictable and without reason. We’re brought up to believe that anything is possible, and our dreams can come true, even though that rarely actually happens. Thus, we have so many broken people in the world. Here in the US you see it in abundance. Reality doesn’t measure up to the happy crap we were fed on the TV. High rates for murder, mental illness, addiction. Despite all evidence to the contrary, people still want to believe the lies they grew up on. Hell, many have to or they couldn’t cope. Like Kinky Friedman said, “A happy childhood is poor preparation for life.” The ones that do have a happy childhood are all too often broken by reality when they get older. You even see it here on this site all the time. They like to watch the stuff they grew up on. To revisit the past, back before reality came crashing down around them. To relive those happy days of their youth. Most are so blinded by that vision of days gone by that they don’t even realize that most of that programming was drivel. Fear not, you are not alone. Not everyone buys into the happy, sappy programming we are fed a steady diet of. “Happiness is attainable for all and the quickest way to it is to buy the stuff we tell you that you need.”

Jirido 1 points 28 days ago.

LOL. “Happiness is attainable for all and the quickest way to it is to buy the stuff we tell you that you need.”
True that. Please my child take the opportunity to run in to the cheerfull wall over here..
The sad is that the energy of the frustration and disappointment from the pain and confusion often is directed towards people that would otherwise be the ones to work and solidarize with in a work to actually being able to achieve what is needed to reach the eventually available abundance. Backstabbing and selling one and other cheaply a mile down the river, often only to shortly get a feeling of life value by attaching to some of these cheap dramas as the only perceived way to get to partake in the dream. From being European I can’t refrain from seeing it trough the lens of class and rot in class concience. I know that you in America see this like some communist view but I have hard to understand how interests would not clump in to class and to deny that view because of national economic reason and dreams of individually getting a head, would not hempen intelligence and further a loop of emotional consumption and escalating stupidity in a kind of Stockholm syndrome where in the end the losers fervently defend their slavery under silly dreams, drugs and psychopath “leaders” as being the highest form of freedom.( Hope as being one of the losers/emotional junkies, to not get muted for saying this :)

Love this show, but i have to ask, did anyone else notice the supernatural hints like the black impala, sure it’s a different year model and it’s a convertible and Jensen Ackles even called it baby. Yeah, he said “baby don’t go on gravel”. Just wondering if anyone caught it.

greenguy86 1 points 28 days ago.

Yeah besides the car, not really. Aliens were never part of Supernatural. They did have episodes that poked fun at the idea. In the vein, it was similar to Supernatural.
