Thanks for the pointers. Sad/bad to hear you can’t use VidSrc or whatever. Strange u don’t have a VPN, but I guess you have your good reasons.

This one is wild! Very funny and like an look into the life and survival of the Italian outcast..
It is a real fly-by-the-seat-of-one’s-pants sort of movie for sure. It’s just a night out, but what a night! Ugly Dirty Bad is good, but it’s been more than 30 years since we’ve seen it. Hard to find.
Just spitballing here, but The Big Fat Greek Wedding ones are good… Waters opposing views in Serial Mom are good… then there’s Pleasantville & Uncle Buck… The Odd Life Of Timothy Green… any of The Borrowers stuff… Sandler’s Spanglish… both versions of Fun With Dick & Jane. They’re very different, but each to it’s own merits… Butter… There’s also Cheaper By The Dozen, etc.

Exactly what I was looking for to watch tonight and even better because it was filmed in such a great location. Wasn’t expecting such an ending. So good.

My eyes ARE eloquent - they were exclusively tutored by top university professors, and speak six and a half languages, when they feel like it. Thank you for asking!
This is so fun…..so Intense …..so disciplined….and I so wish I could taste all those delicious meals …they are works of ART !
This reminds me of watching the original Iron Chef back in the late 90s but more intense
I love how one doesn’t at all know how this drama is going to end. Like a slice of big apple life.
What other comedies in the same big crazy family vibe could you recommend.
One I know about is Ugly, dirty and bad. https://www.primewire.tf/movie/163784-ugly-dirty-and-bad

Wouldn’t be out of line to call it underrated. Hope Davis is underrated, but everyone is good. Ben Stiller’s mom & sister are good. Everyone is, certainly Parker, Liev & Tucci. Great ensemble done in a very Neil Simon style.

Not a bad movie at all. Well worth a one time watch, and with it being the Halloween season, this fits right in. 3 1/2 stars from me. But seeing as I can’t doo a 1/2 mark, I will give it a 4 stars.
This is such a fantastic movie. I am shocked no one has commented on this. So I am, to maybe get it seen soo others can watch it. It’s a great story, you will love it. 5 stars… I’d give it 10 if I could
Both summer & the 80s are in the rear-view mirror, but goofy nostalgia is a click away…
Agreed. Network TV has only had a handful of shows truly worth watching since this one. Such sublime absurdity on a mainstream channel is rare.
About a half a decade, more than 20 episodes per season- the work put into it is self-evident.
Totally engrossing. Sucks a person right in to its story.

Indeed! Are your eyes as eloquent as your silver-tongue?

Mel Gibson is awesome in anything he does and this was a cute Halloween movie. Not gory, not too scary, its just right for the season for me.
Very nice and kind of realistic in a romantic way. Also very funny.

Another Halloween-Samhain gift as presented by the one & only Ronnie James Dio during his peak post-Sabbath era.
Naturally you were obsessed, because this series is one of the most unique, well-written, all-around masterful shows ever on TV. I re-watch the whole series periodically, and I have done so for 30 years. The weird and wonderful characters are long lost friends that I visit and hang out with for a short time each viewing. Bon hiver!
I need to watch it again, soon. This is perfect for the Samhain season!
Really is good fun. The world is nasty enough. Entertainment needs to be entertainment without reminder of what we all know is outside the front door.
Super groovy kitty =)

A Halloween-Samhain gift to our community is this nicely done special that Mr. Astin did for a local affiliate.
I was obsessed with this series. I still think about it a lot to this day.

This is one of those things that hurts my heart, like the 60s Three Stooges.
In all of them, I want them to be funny but they need to be faithful to the original material. The 60s Stooges tried really hard but Moe and Larry were too old (and Curly and Shemp gone) to do the kind of slapstick they used to do, so those were more like throwbacks to 40s musicals. This Addams Family TV movie had the same problem - the actors were there, basically, but the writers didn’t seem familiar with the original shows (or comics). So they shoehorned the Addamses into a late-70s sitcom script. I mean, there was nothing about the Addams Fam that would have included Chippendales dancers in disco Speedos (that shiny gold/silver fabric). This show should have been made as “A Three’s Company Halloween” instead. Heck, the 90s (IIRC) movies were spot-on Addams Family even though the actors were different (and Christina Ricci was good enough to have had a Wed Addams spinoff :) ).
And seeing the actors I loved resorting to this kind of stuff, knowing that it’s because even the most popular actors in the mid-20th century didn’t make a whole lot off their work (IMO The Stooges should have been set for life) is just heartbreaking. :(
So very trooo… It also would’ve been nicer in black & white. Nevertheless, Cousin Shy has come to town.
I’m guessing Tori is not very smart!! If we know anything about Johnny, he always gets his revenge. Do we not take into account what he did to Sarah not to long ago? So, the plot thickens, Tori better watch her back
Who digs kitty cats?
What do you get when one assembles actors Judy Garland, Red Buttons, Mel Blanc, Julie Bennett, Paul Frees as a villain, Hermione Gingold as a fat pink kitty, Thurl Ravenscroft (come on - you know this one - You’re A Mean One, Mister Grinch!), don’t forget to have Dìck Van Dykes Morey Amsterdam as narrator, and put them with the writing talents of animation legend Chuck Jones & his wife Dorothy Jones, then add Looney Tunes animator Abe Levitow as director???
You get an UNDERRATED beloved full-length animated musical feature film (also known as La Fair Mewsette) done by Looney Tunes masters featuring Judy Garland in her only animated role as a singing cat named Mewsette, along with other well known stars & animated voice talent! Set in France & done in a beautiful Impressionist style, of course. In the opening sequence, toon fans even get to see the stars of the film transform from themselves into their animated counterparts. There’s even a book version of this that’s quite collectible.
A really nice thing about this project is that Judy wanted The Wizard Of Oz song team to also do the songs for this film, so Harold Arlen and Harburg accepted & wrote 11 very fun songs of which Judy sings 6 of them. This actually the last thing they ever did too.
Because of this film, Chuck Jones promptly went over to MGM to do some the best Tom & Jerry toons ever. Some of the many animators that worked on this film were also from Termite Terrace such as Arthur Davis, Ken Harris & Ben Washam.
I was obsessed with this series. I still think about it a lot to this day.
This was very good! Really liked the cast, the storyline and how it ended too. I hope there will be at least another season (or two or three or four..). Trust me, if you don’t live here in South Florida? Just know that the potential for some great storylines is endless, enough to keep a show like this running for a loooooong time..LOL
Am I the only one who thinks that Dr. Payne was miscast? I’m only into 40 minutes of the movie and she is already getting on my nerves.
Hold my teeth! I just want to say, I love Danny Trejo in anything. Funny and Fun movie.
a really underated movie.
Just saw a short of this on YT and decided to look it up, only to discover I’d already put it into my library.
Glad I didn’t waste my money going to see this in the theater …this was the stupidest movie I have ever seen! Not much of a story not much acting just all around bad
Hemsworth isn’t a great replacement for the Legend Peter Cullen thats for sure.
What an opener. Bring it on.
