It is a real fly-by-the-seat-of-one’s-pants sort of movie for sure. It’s just a night out, but what a night! Ugly Dirty Bad is good, but it’s been more than 30 years since we’ve seen it. Hard to find.
Just spitballing here, but The Big Fat Greek Wedding ones are good… Waters opposing views in Serial Mom are good… then there’s Pleasantville & Uncle Buck… The Odd Life Of Timothy Green… any of The Borrowers stuff… Sandler’s Spanglish… both versions of Fun With Dick & Jane. They’re very different, but each to it’s own merits… Butter… There’s also Cheaper By The Dozen, etc.
