The Legend of BADASSATRON is born. Very good flick. Basically an origin story of one of the best cartoons and toys of my childhood. Good animation, I had honest laughs a few times, not too childish, not too adult, it hit the sweet spot. Might have preferred lesser known or OG voice actors, it was a little distracting hearing familiar voices from well-known actors…but they did a good job in their roles, particularly being ‘younger’ versions of these iconic characters. I’m not sure how accurate some of the story was, but nothing stood out as glaringly wrong from my fading memory of the cartoons and comics.
4/5 Not as strong of an animation movie as say the Miles Morales Spiderman, but well worth a watch for any fan of Transformers…better than some of the live action movies.
