About to embark on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her past.
Absolute crap, maybe good for a one time watch the first 10 minutes were almost insuferable to get though, the rest of it was trying way to hard to match the first movie, with a character I had a hard time caring about, the reviews on this film are mixed, some say it was very good others, share my opinion, instead of cashing in on making movies with the same theme over and over again why not take the cash and call it a day, this movie at best was just okay. 2/5 stars
same theme over and over its only part 2….would like to hear your concept on lets say Friday the 12 part 24 or Halloween part 10 and so on….there horror films…lol
Yeah, I might have been too harsh on this film, honestly I didn’t care the the Friday The 13th films, the first one was okay, slasher films bore me collage kids get killed, sex scenes, running from an evil someone, ETC, Halloween was good,1 and 2 the 3rd one made me not want to watch anymore, I agree I was too harsh on the film the acting was decent, but the story is a reinse and repeat film, a yawn fest.
Horror movie done for younger audience. I start to see that I am slowly becoming the older generation (I am over 40) :D nevertheless I did enjoy it. It did not bore me. It was simple and fun. 6,5/10
The acting and cinematography were top notch. Story development and conclusion was a little flat for me. The focus was obviously on shock value and CGI, not on delivering a strong storyline. Also, it should be called Voss Water and not Smile 2 lol
This one was just like the first one…absolute CRAP! If you are reading this and haven’t seen the first one or if you have seen the first one and are interested in checking this one out? Do yourself a favor…DONT! Both are an absolute waste of your time. The first one had a weird WTF did I just watch type ending..the second one is just plain stupid.
Glad I could help. Trust me, you’re not missing anything…the Trailers for both movies are the best thing about them. Other than that, complete waste of time.
I loved both Smile films but the one minor criticism i had for part 1 they carried over to part 2 and went balls to the wall with it. But aside from that the movie was quite good and Im looking forward to see where they go with the 3rd one.
I found this to be a disappointment. It really tried too hard to have the suspense the first one had, and it’s too obvious to work. I found myself bored most of the time. Others may enjoy it, so this is just my opinion.
really enjoyed this film, simple and effective, loved how the film plays with the reality. as soon as the main character was infected, i had the feeling of how this film was going to end.
i would be interested in a prequel film that showed how this entity came into existence before they carry with the fallout of this film.
There were some disturbing and awkward scenes. But, it was a lot like bumper cars where it was a bump and go, then slow getting started again, then bump and go, until 3/4 of the show through. I mean it was a good movie and the music was okay. I guess I just didn’t like the Star on a tour part about it. At the end of the day, its all about what you like about it.
Although the story was more centered around Skye’s singing career, I enjoyed it. It was very low paced but the eerie atmosphere was there throughout the film. And thumbs up for Naomi Scott for her amazing acting! wow!! 3.5/5 stars
Holy shit… the lead actress is insanely good. I loved Smile but this is on another level just for her. The gore was nothing compared to the psychological pain. The intensity of the trauma reminded me of Midsommar and the whole core idea of trauma spreading like a virus is brutal like no Hostel or Saw will ever be. I have my doubts they will be able to chew what they bit off with the final scene but I am looking forward to the third installment. Great Movie… its nice to see that the horror genre gets some real fresh new franchises like this or Terrifier. This is what the times call for.

Thanks! I haven’t seen either one and after reading the comments I’m going to skip them both. 👍

this one was different than the first,
I think they’re figuring out the lore.
This movie upped the stakes huge.
The third one will be nuts.

I agree. I much preferred the first one.
And my ear holes are still scarred by the ‘Lady Raven’ concert they like to call Trap, so I had to FF thru all the music.

This was really fun to watch.
Compared to the first first one, everything was bigger and more complicated. Give it a watch.
creepy soundtrack
