What is RHP? This movie makes a lot of sense if you pay attention to what is going on in it, but I respect your opinion. I don’t do any type of drugs or alcohol. I’ve watched this 3 or 4 times & once w/the director’s & Nicole’s commentary which shed extra light on the insight I received while watching it. It’s definitely a deep movie & requires some work on the viewer’s part to think about what is going on. I get that some people don’t want to have to do that while watching a movie since they consider it to mostly entertainment. Unfortunately for those viewers there are a lot of directors who make movies that need to be reflected on & introspection isn’t a goal of the people who just want to be entertained. I get it since I don’t always want to be challenged when watching a movie. Just because one doesn’t like a movie doesn’t mean it’s not a good film. It’s just not your cuppa.

Excellent film. It’s more of a stage play than a movie but has a stellar cast with Nicole Kidman at the helm. Pretty intense movie though without a lot of action. So definitely not for everyone.
The production itself is very bare bones & done purposefully that way to focus on the acting & emotions conveyed. Love Von Trier’s films. He’s all about controversy so the subjects of his movies many have difficulty with & can be triggering. But he handles the subjects usually quite well and gets amazing performances from his casts. Worth a view if you like Nicole Kidman or even if you don’t since I believe this is one of her all time best.

Martino Rivas is a star. Not heard of him until this wild series, even though he’s been acting since ‘98 mostly in Spanish series/movies. He is in the process of being a household name imo. He’s talented & handsome.
This series is wild. the 1st 20-30 minutes of the 1st epi is chaotic, debauched & crazy. It’s a very frenetic pace. If you don’t like nudity, sex, partying, violence or drug use/selling this isn’t for you so you’ve been warned. Martino plays a famous latin pornstar so if you have no interest in seeing the life of Nacho Vidal then don’t watch. I found it fascinating. The acting & production is excellent though. I really got lost in the storyline & the amazing cast. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

I’ve watched the first episodes and will continue to watch unless it turns ridiculous. If you read the synopsis you’ll see it’s a familiar plot. It reminds me of ‘Wayward Pines’ back in 2015.

Glad to see Michelle beat Devon’s pet snake Olivia. Michelle is still an underdog. Will be interesting to see her perform in a final if she makes it. Cory is the dark horse for sure. Will be rooting for him and his new alliance with Cara. Laurel’s non nonchalant exit/quitting in the mini final was the last nail in the coffin for me. The season rages on lets go!!!

TS just means Telesync. Not a whole not of difference between that and a CAM version to tell the truth, though it might be a tad cleaner with the volume. Depends on the quality of the equipment that is being used by the person that is in the audience filming the movie at the time, actually.

Steven Strait, who played James Holden on The Expanse, is suddenly becoming a regular on this show. It must suck going from a lead role in a fabulous sci-fi series to playing a bit part in this one, although, this is a highly rated show. The Expanse is still one of the all time best.
