This movie is insane. It sucks you in and spits you out completely disoriented. Its like an acid trip or the more entertaining version of “Enter the void”.

That birthing scene was a great way of putting “Like father, like son”. Always love me some Alex Garland.

This is coming out on demand and digital on December 17th and there’s a trailer out for the film as well with the film being released by Lionsgate.

The Voices (2015)

Great movie and a fresh take on the devil on on shoulder, angel on the other premise.
This has to be one of the darkest comedies i have ever seen. Its funny and heartbreakingly sad at the same time.

I’m a sucker for the post apocalyptic shows. Interesting enough to give it a go. It will largely be plot driven, so all the famous faces are irrelevant for me. You could literally put anyone who is half decent actor/actress and I’d still be into it.

Xsile 1 points 7 days ago.

like The 100. Not the best acting but damn if it was not a fun watch.

This is from books right? I am pretty sure i recenly listed to some audio books that are the exact same premis as this show. Yup yup. As soon as they showed engineer Julis I knew it was the same as the books.

Great spider horror movie with a typical gritty french vibe. The scene in the tunnel was really triggering and they didn’t need to go that overboard in the end. Damn those spiders were scary… and i don’t mean the absurdly big ones.

Am I the only one having trouble with the thick accents from Kelly and Adam. It is interesting but I don’t Ill finish watching this drama.

Yes, the accents were tough but the girls were cute lol

I was able to sit through it all, so it wasn’t horrible. I’d give it 2.5 if I was able - plot was a bit weak, drama slow and lacking, action very sparse. I’d put it at the bottom of my list to watch, for when there is nothing else, if I were you.

Fiery explosion with non-flammable gas, as already posted once in this thread:

Noamen 2 points 7 days ago*.

I’ve now watched your video twice, and there is no fire whatsoever. No flame. Just a puff of very cold gas escaping (rather weakly) after being shot numerous times. I have a feeling you are just enjoying being a nay-sayer since your last comment is intentionally incorrect.

Four more days to wait! It just occurred to me that Billy Bob Thornton and Wes Bentley are both from Arkansas. Not a lot of actors from Arkansas, but the few that have made it in Hollywood are rather good actors. One that comes to mind is Josh Lucas.

The Lincoln Lawyer (2022)
Piglet 1 points 7 days ago.

There will be a season 4. The Lincoln Lawyer hasn’t been able to include the character of Bosch because of Amazon Prime Videos Bosch show and spinoff. The streaming platform owns exclusive rights to the character, so the Netflix show cannot use Bosch. Luckily, the showrunners for The Lincoln Lawyer already have plans on how to handle the situation in season 4. As if we need another cliffhanger! Can’t wait for season 4!

One of the worst episodes I have ever seen. What a mess. I would mark it as a review but this is not exactly one because it does not deserve one. Waste of time! Should have watched “red one” instead lol..

What an ending, Twisting left and right, backwards and forwards, this is a good watch, slow at first, and very psychologically mind bending, I would recommend.

This is basically Scrubs meets The Office only without the wit and charm that made both of those franchises successful in the first place don’t be surprised if this show gets itself canceled after it’s first season.

ROFLMAO. This was so refreshing, entertaining, and heartwarming. Loved the post credit outtakes shown, too. Especially the last one, So glad they opted to cut that line from the film. It was equally a non-sponsored corporate plug, and, hysterical. I wonder if it was an ad lib?

Saturday Night (2024)

It’s at least done by Jason Reitman, Catherine Reitman’s brother. Their dad was Ivan Reitman, the guy that brought us Ghostbusters, Stripes, Meatballs, Animal House, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Cronenberg’s Shivers & other stuff. Jason worked with his dad on Ghostbusters & did some good stuff of his own like Thankyou For Smoking, Young Adult, Jennifer’s Body, etc.

He might be one of the few that can actually do it right since he grew up around it & that whole crew of people.

random000 2 points 8 days ago.

Along the lines of the vintage Ruby Keeler backstage comedies like 42nd Street or Footlight Parade, just not as spectacular. The vibe of that sort of thing is there though. Casting was mixed, where it was nailed in a few instances like with Lamorne Morris or Matt Wood, but not so much in others. Surprising to see Cindy Crawford’s kid Kaia Gerber as Chevy’s wayward gal. It’s a flick for hardcore fans of that era & it accomplished what it set out to do.

I remember this sad story, its always the same with these type of men, If I was Rashid, I would change my name to an english meaning, that was his mum, she did no wrong other than marry someone from the middle east, where they think women are nothing, he has never said where she is , I hope he rots in hell…
