This was a really cute movie. It wasn’t as funny as I thought it was going to be from the trailers. But it was still a great watch. I have a feeling this is going to become a Christmas classic fast.
Just watched it all. Had nothing else to do. And I loved it very much..

Krampus is German - it’s pronounced “Krahm-poose.” We called it that at home since I was a little kid. Saying “Kram-pus” isn’t any easier. If you’re going to pronounce it differently, at least spell it differently, I think.

OK I wasn’t going to watch this, and I avoided reading the comments. I don’t want or need ‘feel good’ shoved down my throat. But I thought, well it’s got the Rock so maybe it won’t be so bad. IMHO this is the best holiday movie ever made! I know why it has all the haters. It’s not filled with those sacchrine sweet moment every other scene. All you haters, you know you’re on the naughty list. wink wink It was a fun watch. And for you goodie two shoes, there’s a little bit of cane sugar at the end. Merry Everything and Happy Always! And to all a Good Night!

Did I like it? Yes! It has loads of action, great cgi/fx and the cast was spot on ‘for this version’ of a Santa story. However, monsters for Christmas … really? Millennial script writers have no idea what the true meaning of Christmas is nor do they have any idea about the real magic of the season. An athletic Santa does explain the story, but this Santa was not what the kids of today need. They need to experience what generations before them experienced during this festive season. The movie was good, but it could have had any mythical creature (Jack Frost, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy … etc.) and it would have been the same. Without the ‘meaning’ of Christmas this movie was just another movie. It had no heart and did not evoke any kind of emotional response. When the Boomers and GenX are all gone, Christmas will be gone too.
The script was written by Chris Morgan a 56 year old, also Millennials were the last gen to experience a “proper Christmas” so stop generation bashing when you can’t even get the gen correct

I dunno, worked pretty good for me, watched the version that came out right off the top, and it seemed pretty good sound wise. TS version dose tend to be better though…
I kinda have some high bass probably the reason I can’t hear well.. Will try to adjust it a bit but yeah that’s my point. That sounds like a cam rather than a TS. Don’t know why people are rating my comment down lol.. I don’t mean anything bad I just can’t hear a good voice. Apologies I guess..
TS just means Telesync. Not a whole not of difference between that and a CAM version to tell the truth, though it might be a tad cleaner with the volume. Depends on the quality of the equipment that is being used by the person that is in the audience filming the movie at the time, actually.
