I liked the beginning and the start of the invasion then the cat carried the rest of the movie. Glad to see a cat being a major character in a human movie
A Quiet Place: Day One Confirmed Announced by Paramount initially as an untitled project, the Quiet Place prequel was given a title in early 2022, two months after A Quiet Place III was confirmed to be hitting theaters in 2025. While the Abbott family’s journey will resume in Part III, that movie will be released after A Quiet Place: Day One, which will technically be the third installment. This indicates that the production of the spinoff prequel is further ahead than A Quiet Place’s main storyline and explains why the two movies were confirmed separately. I’m a bit confused but do look forward to another (or 2) sequel(s).
the central story about someone just wanting to live a little bit more while facing down the end of their life was very well done. It gave the movie a very grounded and human center against the backdrop of the apocalypse
Terrible CAM that only confirms how truly awful this prequel is. It’s a waste of time to watch this so wait and maybe it will be 10% better, but will still be nothing like the first or the second. Whatever it was supposed to “explain” it fails, utterly.
This movie showed another perspective, but I feel like this should have gone in a different direction. I would like to know from what galaxy these aliens are from. How long it took them to reach earth, did they know about earth in advance, how long do the aliens live, how do they navigate a spaceship if they have no eyes, what happened on their planet that drove them to travel. How long do they intend to occupy earth, why have humans not seen their spaceships, how do they return to the spaceship that they came from. Will they try to kill all life on earth that makes noise and if so, then will they leave? Why did they come to earth? It appears earth is not the only planet that has some find of life form. It all seems to go back to the question, what happened on their planet? Inquiring minds want to know.
Okay, this was good, but not theater-worthy. More “made for TV” fare. There’s only so many ways to “outsmart” these aliens, so it just becomes a stay quiet and still in different places movie. Really hope it’s the last one.
feels like these creatures are no more than alien biological weapons I wonder if the real treat is still outside the planet just clearing the area before they actually land… The producers could spin this forever if they want showing the perspective of every surviving person in different locations, the milking potential there is really huge.
The first two films had me jumping in my seat. Not so much this one.The change from the rural family to the urban individuals did not make the story anything more than an extension of the original story for me and the surprise and shock value was lost. Although the actors were excellent in their roles, given the backstory, i did not feel the same desperation from them to stay alive. I did find the cat a nice touch and it was photogenic at all angles .Given the story was set in the big city i am sure all the extras were happy to get work.
No I tried watching most of them, and they all were very small square videos they weren’t even stretched out to the proper ratio formatting for the film somebody really fucker up recording it….
They were 1 meow away of death the entire movie..

I loved it.
Same. Awesome and hooray for the cat!!!

the first two were entertaining but this was bleh.
A bit dull and too short but overall it’s good.
Make one good movie and they’re gonna milk it to death. What’s next, a TV show, A Quiet Place: Legacy with the children grown up etc
A Squid style reality/game show.

I wonder how quiet an electric car is?
Over rated !!!
So disappointed in this movie, it was just boring and slow. They can make 1 more and stop.

While I’m waiting for an upload of links (probably tomorrow), I’m going to watch the first 2 movies, so I’ll be up to date before watching this one.

Going to wait for better quality, seems so far like a movie I’ll probably only watch once and enjoy it.
I enjoyed this movie! What a way to end my day after watching the horrible Alien: Romulus film! Thank You PW!!!
Frodo is a great actor.
the movie was ok lol the cat was so cute i dont know why she stayed at the end
I zoned out about halfway through and started playing with my phone. It’s pretty unremarkable. Not bad but not great. Just meh.

8 votes already, must’ve been a great movie 🍿🍿
you’re one of them. How was the film?
Wow, there are so many obvious disingenuous comment for this movie.
All the links lead to a video with small square screens

Can confirm these links work fine.
