Well I wasn’t expecting that… slightly left of centre from the usual story - Really enjoyed the way this ran…..

A really fun movie that stands the test of multiple watches (it is often on tv for some reason). Not a cinematic masterpiece but good way to pass some time, if you have nothing else to do.
I was just checking this movie out yesterday and contemplating on whether to watch it or not. After reading your comment, it sold me. I shall put it on my watch list now.
The prawn scene in the beginning was the worst for that. They also made turkey very unappetizing. It made me wonder if there was a Vegan writing the script. lol
There is more than one way to destroy a person than just to murder him…
you can as well kill a person in his “society” just by smeering his name, so he/she is isolated just like in prison.
men are not worse than women, they react in other ways than women.
violence should be always punished, thats a given, but “violence” can come in many ways.
what they show here with this curfew idea is deeply fashist by criminalising a whole sex.
btw,pretty weak ending….
they even leave it open,if the fashist system stays in place
I love Mickey Rourke but never use what he did to his face as a movie poster
I really enjoyed this series, with it’s stella cast of black excellence. Definitely worth watching.
I don’t get all the hate for this movie. Is it the best Alien? Not a chance. But it was worth a watch at the very least. You could tell they were trying to bring back that fire the original had. They should of went away from the original a bit more and did something new. But you could see what they were trying to do. If you are a fan of the franchise, give it a watch. It’s worth a once over. 3/5 stars from me.
I agree, it’s a reasonable watch. It never reaches the heights of the 1st 2 movies.
It adds nothing new, it’s just a basic ‘board ship, find aliens, escape ship’ movie.
There were some good looking visual effects and it kept me interested to the end even if I did feel that I had seen all this before.
It’s not a series entry I would purposely watch again though.
More of a historical drama depicting life in 18th century. Very sad and disturbing “poem” about being a woman back then.
It is a fun movie to watch but it is kind of a clown show. I liked the movie but there is just something about it that i cant quit put my my finger on that makes me like it a less then the first 2. Though funny the comedy in this one was a bit to on the nose and predictable.
I, have to rewatch this weird I like it it went over my head rewatch
The series “Cleddau” is all in Welsh, but according to WhatToWatch.com there will also be an English version of the show international audiences titled as “The One That Got Away”. Unfortunately there’s no mention of a release date for that version.
One of the stars of this show is Elen Rhys, who also plays the blonde female detective in “The Mallorca Files” series. This is the first show she has made speaking her native Welsh.
A charming twist to the usual Period drama series. This likeable, spunky yet wholesome family suddenly find themselves in a bind after an accident causes the loss of their jobs at the docks. Hardwork, entrepreneurship and good investments bring a fast paced change in their circumstances. I look forward to enjoying the rest of this miniseries.
Love this show. Not over the top at all. Just the right amount of action.
I think this is more of what we all wanted to really know about his past !!! I hope they don’t start of with JAG
dude , so glad i saw your comment, this hadn’t shown up on my radar yet, ty
Dude! ! was in the same area! Went to Sequoia JH and Reseda High. Used to hang out at Reseda Park south side on ditch day. Small world. Lived there for 39 years. Also Rob may have not come out until later but everyone and I mean everyone guys and girls thought he was just as gay as Freddie Mercury an didnt care.

I can’t stop crying. THIS moment, this EPIC moment, has all the feels. This is what is meant by keeping it ALL In The Family. Can’t wait for the next episode. This is going to be 1 grand finale season.
New Episode!!
“You know how long I’ve been waiting for this?” A whole week! haha

Have not watched the movie but I can relate to the “isolation”. Thank you for the wise words.
that’s probably something a lot of people don’t think about, that the rest of the family is stigmatized by the one persons actions. How do you try and lead a normal life when your (family) name is brought into such a horrible spotlight?
and we all know we gonna tell ukraine all our tricks, well done mr ritchie
Canceling this show is like digging down the 192 report, but for real. Sad decision. This was good.
Just rediscovered this GEM! Sophie Willan is a natural comedian and roll on the floor hilarious. Episode five is the diamond of season two. Alma’s Not Normal deserves 5/5 stars!
Very disappointing. Just a mish mash of Alien and Aliens tropes which we’ve all seen before.
A really well done series. Acting, screenplay, sets, camera … just everything. Great flip towards the end that made you really guess what would happen.
Fyi all episodes are subbed, not dubbed.
@greyfur I literally just finished that season, (I’m behind times and just found this show lol), (was even more surprised to see it has a 2nd show from 2021 and again that it has a 3rd show starting this year smh lol), (after researching it before watching it I didn’t think it had THAT much of a story since only some was actual facts about a few true serial killers and the rest was made up lol, guess I was wrong because I’m definitely hooked and superfast bingeing it lol. Its really good!) but it was Season 4 in the original Dexter 2006-2013, and you are right John Lithgow was awesome in it! John Lithgow in The Old Man was good also as he usually is, Jeff Bridges was also for the most part, it was just the storyline, it dddrrruuugggg out so sssllooowww, it was painful to watch ugh, I was dutiful and watched till the end but it was just not worth is to me.
Gonna put this as a spoiler for others that might not have seen any of this, and won’t say much, as you have not finished, and have not watched the other stuff yet. The first Dexter series will kind of tick you off at the end, last season. It did that with most of the fan base, and everybody wanted a better ending then what they got.
That being said, we were all pretty happy to see a rep-boot of the show, which I watched all the way through, and while it was pretty good for the most part, there we were with that ending again. Or that was my take on it, and I don’t believe I was alone on that, but others might have different feelings on that, but thinking for the most part generally speaking, I think for the most part people would generally agree it could have had a better ending then what they left us with.
Not really sure if I’m even going to bother with the new one they are coming out with now, can’t remember the name of it, guess Dexter is graduating from High School, and Harry is still teaching him how to not get caught. May or may not be good, but they keep leaving us hanging with these endings…
Glad you liked the season with Lithgow, I think that was one of the best seasons in the whole series. As to the ‘Old Man’, for some reason, I really like that one. I don’t mind the slower pace, as long as it keeps my mind going. They manage to do that, and they keep on telling a really good story. These guys are a bit too long in the tooth for too much action anymore, but they are geared up just right for intrigue, and they are killing it with this, and just the right amount of action to make it look realistic. But that just me, and different people like different things.
Hope I didn’t spoil anything for you on Dexter, it’s still worth the ride! Peace!
Did you ever watch Dexter? Can’t remember what season it was, but he was in one of those, was about the best season ever, he played a serial killer that was Dexter’s nemesis, did a fantastic job.

Women took on a huge burden. I’m flabbergasted any of them made it to safe.
We are wonderful creatures ❤️
The moment I read the synopsis - a relationship drama in a sci-fi setting - I just knew Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead would be somehow involved, and sure enough, they’re executive producers. For a directorial debut, the film is quite solid. It leaves some questions unanswered, but that ambiguity is not necessarily a bad thing.
I’m glad her kids know the truth about her being their real Mom but I’m sure it was very confusing for the youngest ones for a while. And don’t hate me for this but, it confuses the hell out of me when they still talk about God and forgiveness and not question why He allowed to happen to begin with.
Premiering the Sunday before Halloween on Channel 4 uk.
