I gave up… I just couldn’t do it anymore. Watched because of James Nesbitt Season 1 - but this was like a production put on by high school students? HUH? so much didn’t make any sense at all - the acting was ridiculous, and the storyline absurd. I pushed through until Episode 5 (because mama didn’t raise no quitter)… but then just no more. Can only say that I usually love British crime drama… but this is utter rubbish. For the sake of your sanity, leave it alone. Oh and btw even though James Nesbitt’s character is referred to every third line… he hasn’t appeared once!!
Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)
This film proves that there’s still live in the Marvel Cinematic plus WESLEY SNIPES is back as Blade and he still kicks alot of butt and looks damn good doing it plus Henry Cavill as a version of Wolverine is just perfect casting and brining back Chris Evans as Johnny Storm / The Human Torch is such a deep cut reference and it’s something that really does work in the context of the film as well.
Suspect (2022)
Season 2 seemed more like a recitation of lines instead of acting. Every scene was comprised of the protagonist encountering the person after which the episode was named, convincing this person to provide missing info, and then running from the bad guys. Yes, I understand that this can be described as story-telling, but seen in the 8 episodes from season 1 and again in the 8 episodes from season 2 made it seem repetitive.
Did I stay for the entire season? Yes.
Will I come back for the next season? NO!

I wasn’t impressed - didn’t get me invested in any character and the plot was too linear to stand out in it’s genre. Pretty dull dialogue. I feel they put all their eggs in one baslet and relied on the ending to be the wow moment but it was just….meh.

I guess I don’t see what’s wrong with asking if people ask if a show is worth watching. I see a lot of people ask if “this is any good”, or “is this worth watching?”. It would hurt my feeling if I got blocked for asking an opinion.

That Kate is just awful. All tool’s should remain in play if you tap out, her taking them was just dirty. That said, Jeff was complaining that if Patrick had built the trigger correct they would have won. But, after it didn’t work the first time, Patrick rebuilt the trap and used the trigger he built! Then he complains that everybody got a hide when he already had one and that was unfair. What a winer LOL

I hope Kates’ sh*tty decision keeps her from being asked to do these challenges in the future. No one will want to pair up with her ever again that’s for sure. I had no doubt that she would tap in this episode. Once she began the whining and screaming at the end of the first it isn’t long before she taps but to take her partners tools when she left was just down right evil.

I didn’t either! The wife and daughter looked so much alike that I thought it was the wife that the son saw in the video, but that was probably an assumption from seeing the movie.. Hard to tell with the hoodie and all. I have a feeling that’s what the writers were counting on when casting this series. Well played, writers!

I thought that the story was very good, but I wasn’t a fan of the direction. I thought that the flashbacks and out of sequence scenes lacked fluidity in the telling of the story. Still, this was a good western and even thought provoking. I can’t help but think that Viggo Mortensen must be a very unhappy man in real life because most of his films seem so sad.

Agree about the flashbacks, and out of sequence and depressing nature of this film. Not a film I will recommend, to anyone who isn’t a fan of drama, or has a short attention span. I was so looking forward to it too. Still there were parts I liked, the bleakness, the cinematography, I want to go where those stunning rock formations were. In the credits it says it was filmed in Canada and Mexico. Anyone know where that place is?

I never ever watch or followed procedural type shows, I guess I gave this a try cuz I’m into horror/thrillers and remember’d Mike Coulter as Luke Cage in the underrated netflix marvel universe…
Although I admit there is more than a few ‘filler’ episodes,
HOWEVER, when the show gets into its main series plot lines (and yes the first two seasons can drag a lil and there are some goofy/corny eps) It knocks it out of the park and it rewards the viewer for stickin along for the long demonic ride.
I really enjoy the writers and hope they stay in this horror genre for a new project as this show winds down
