Was this a made for tv movie? I think possibly it was, and Richard Hatch was in the tv series Battlestar Galactica with Loren Green and Pamela Bellwood who was in the 1981 tv series Dynasty and I watched both series. Where are they now I wonder?

This was the season finale. If we get a second season, I wouldn’t expect to see it until 2026 at the earliest.

Years ago I was googling tattoos and found a site with an extreme body mod section. Some of the photos posted were of people doing exactly this…to themselves! One that’s burned into my head forever was a pic of a dude with a dinner plate in front of himself. He’d cut out his own testicles and put them on the plate. 😬 There were a lot of other gross pix but that’s the one I’ll never forget.

On the other hand also shares some relevance with other forms of body modification, cosmetic surgery, dysphoria, but also backyard abortion issues. and the issues around bodily autonomy. esp, the rights of intersex people, who are forced into surgery.
having ulterior motives when meeting people irks me. sure we all have our worlds and morals and relate in some way having come to those decisions about why we think and feel about the things we do.. i like that louis’ brother here has set this doc around the idea of consent and what that means, especially in extreme or fringe scenes and scenarios. would have liked to go a little more in depth on the nuance of consent in some scenarios, like the psychology and boundaries of it and its relation to society and what that means, other than just talking about thinking about what might underlie compulsions and preoccupations
