Jericho is a drama about what happens in the aftermath of a nuclear explosion in the once peaceful town of Jericho. Following the battle with New Bern, the citizens of Jericho begin reconstruction efforts to restore the town's power and communication with the outside world. As the country's new leaders, the Cheyenne government, attempt to establish their stronghold in the region, Jericho's citizens become suspicious of their new leaders and question why their community is so important to this newly formed government. |

Saw this recommended in a list of series that deserved a finale movie, such as Deadwood, to clean up hanging storylines. Decided to give it a go.
There’s a short comic run that tries to wrap up the loose ends.

very good post-apo tv-show. Good actors and good scenario!
This was one of the first shows I binged before binging was really a thing. I’ve watched the full run several times now and still love it … it’s well worth a watch. There’s also the ‘prequel’ of sorts on Youtube that can be found here: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwhLVJ5NdhQ) as well as a ‘season three’ graphic novel that wraps up the story. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jericho_Season_3:_Civil_War)
still in my opinion the greatest series ever made. It would have gotten more seasons and a lot of spinoffs if it wasn’t for the writer strike.
have you seen revolution? this was recommended to me off the back of enjoying that and i def see why, but i’d say revolution is better
The feels of community just were so much better in this. the lore, the everything. Revolution I enjoyed watched that showed about 3 times, Jericho as well. Fringe I watched about 6 times. yellow lights about a small town in the swamps in amerika with a good old sherrif station that got invaded slowly by mysterious Aliens. So many to count, but one thing for sure. around the 2005 to 2012 that were when series were at the peak!
ive never heard of yellow lights, def adding to the list thank you!
Invasion (2005 TV series) sorry the name wasn’t yellow lights lol. but when you watch the tv show youll understand why I thought it was. haha
ohhh i have seen it! it was good, also cancelled too soon
yeah man have you seen the one where a boy finds an egg sort of. then it hedges and is a water lizard dragon ish. at the same time deepdive researchers are finding a new species in the deep waters. super cool as well. if you dont ill search the name for you.
it’s not ringing a bell, do tell if you find

this looks sick thank you!
ur welcome dude
One of my favourite shows that was canceled so sad! Surface was amazing
well then you will love probably: Tera Nova, Fringe, jericho, Surface, Invasion (2005), have you watched those.
I think I will rewatch this really good drama! I can’t remember if I watched the 2nd season or not. I do think if it were made now, it would have had more than 2 seasons. I’d rather watch this series over The Walking Dead! I can only take so much blood and gore.
I heard there was a prequel to this show but cannot find it
It never took hold. You can read all about it here.
Jericho:Coyntdown can be seen on youtube its 22 episodes sort of a prequel to the show. Its one of my favorite shows too im sad it ended like it did.
Likewise. As Countdown was a promotional web-series, used to renew network interest for a prequel and failed, it was not recognized as a “legitimate” television series. Glad you at least got to see it, thanks to the fan who posted it there.
Good show, really liked it, but sadly they didn’t end it.Still worth a watch but you will be disappointed there isn’t more.
Agreed, Fin! Bummed they cancelled it too soon. But better to know that going in. All in all, well worth the time committed.
