What would you do without it all? In this epic adventure, a family struggles to reunite in an American landscape void of electricity: a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology -- computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights -- has mysteriously blacked out forever. |

I watched this way back when it was first on, don’t remember how because I haven’t had TV since 2010. Probably on WatchSeries. It was exciting without being overly-dramatic. Great characterization and plots. Worth a rewatch, if I didn’t already have 200 other things on my list.
Megavideo went down in January of ‘12, so probably Putlocker or SockShare.
RIP megavideo :(
I lost so many megaupload files. Thieves.
I know how you feel. I had a freaking whole bookmarks folder with subfolders and sub-subfolders for one site for my TV shows, can’t remember which site — watchseries maybe? Had everything listed by days of the week, and all that. Then it was all just gone. Was so happy to find PW, because of the schedule feature. No more need for all those links. FREAKED OUT when we were shut down for awhile.
Really was a good show. Though long gone, has potential to be continued where it stood, or simply rebooted. Be nice to stop the reboots & just pick up & go though.
We watched it at MovieStorm mostly, but there was also the stoner oriented PotLocker which had a nice community. The one we miss most however is StageVu which had a very active community. They listed EVERYTHING, not just stuff on imdb. Here, if it’s not got an imdb tt or tvmaze connection, forget it - it will remain unlisted.
PotLocker is the reason why I don’t remember StageVu.
Potlocker just may be the reason why the writers lost the plot & over-focused on the AI aspect of the show rather than world build & fully explore the dystopia they created.
Very Continuum of them.
✔✔
This one was really good, as well as Falling Skies, Continuum, Under the Dome etc..golden age of good series.. and yeah.. most watched on Putlocker through this site and its predecessor
Good shows in a truly golden age ㋡
I remember all of those shows, and they were all worth watching. This was a great one, and wish they never dropped it, deserved another season, and another one was Falling Skies, that was a great show as well.

Had to edit this, as I scrolled down a bit further after posting this, I saw I had made a comment here a long time ago, where I posted and added this link, but am going to leave it up here for you in case you want to check it out, it’s a great watch, with several seasons.
Those are some good shows from a time our family felt tv was truly worthwhile. Aside from censored movies, TNT was never a great network, but when it did Falling Skies it had come round. Our aunt & uncle got us into it & I’ve got it in our big playlist:

Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles with Lena Headey, Summer Glau & Shirley Manson is nice to watch 1st followed by Falling Skies. It was done 3 years prior ㋡

Man, I loved the Sarah Conner Chronicles, and they really ended that on a major cliffhanger, right ticked me off. Summer did that so well, was one of the best parts of the show. Thanks for the list, I’ll go check it out here in a second, but betting I have probably watched just about everything on that at one point or another. Gonna check it though just in case I did miss something good, you never know.
No kidding, Art! If anyone’s seen most everything on that crazy big list, it might be you. The area with Falling Skies is page 16, but there’s plenty other stuff as well.
Yeah, I kinda went through a little bit of it, and ‘hearted’ the list, I can find it easy now, will be right on top, will have to take some time and a piece of paper and note some page numbers and get to work at some point, that’s one hell of a list you got going! Nice job by you! I might have to hit you at some point, see where you have a few things I might be interested in, like TV Series that I might have missed that are SY FY based, or possibly Fantasy, I general, though I probably (like you) have either watched or dismissed them as crappy after giving them a shot. Gimme a bit to get around to going through that, and see what I can find….Thanks again for that.
Sure thing. Discovered Revolution via the family & that list couldn’t exist without them. Whatever I can do, will pay forward any of the help they gave me with that stuff.
We lived in an electric world. We relied on it for everything. And then the power went out. Everything stopped working. We weren’t prepared. Fear and confusion lead to panic. The lucky ones made it out of the cities. The government collapsed. Militias took over, controlling the food supply and stockpiling weapons. We still don’t know why the power went out, but we’re hopeful that someone will come and light the way.
absolutely gripped from second 1. cant believe id never heard of this..
Here’s another one you might like as well. I remember watching this, the synopsis could be a lot better, it’s accurate, but it’s more about a guy trying to be a leader in a militia in the aftermath of an alien invasion, and also trying to keep what’s left if his family together at the same time.

It’s actually really pretty well done, and there are several seasons to it. I would give this shot if you liked this. I Watched this series as well, and was disappointed at how it never got another season, felt it deserved one.
thank you for the recommendation! exactly the vibe im on and id never heard of it. i really thought you were describing Invasion (2005) in the first half there which if you havent seen i think could pique your interest too although it only has one season
Invasion was all right for what it was, but not nearly as good as this was. You’re gonna like this…
Thanks for commenting on this. I remember watching this when it first aired but don’t think I made it to season 2. I’ll add this to my rewatch list now :)
im very jazzed at the level of interaction this has generated! i was just coming back to comment my wonder at how this show’s cast and crew is such an insane who’s who from every show i’ve ever watched from frank lupeetus and juliet from lost to teddy altman from grey’s anatomy to bisexual anna from one tree hill to gus fring/stan edgar and then jj abrams and erik kripke like im DIZZY
i didnt even mention JACOB
Wow I kinda think this is coming soon as we all know China or Russia or North Korea will send an EMP soon there’s chatter of this happening in the near future so im not surprised if this shit happens
Yes, you could be right! I have begun to get some items for my survival box. I also have filled glass bottles with water and some gallon plastic bottles with water. I have a water filter device too, small compass, need to get a warm sleeping bag, I have a solar powered light and will be getting a solar powered watch. I also pay close attention to dramas like this to get an idea of other things I need to get. Also what to do and not do. I’m no survivalist, but it never hurts to be prepared. I’ve always had a big first aid kit in my car and I need to add a few things to it too. I have a book that lists foods/herbs etc to help with certain health issues.
can’t say enough praise about this show. it’s so interesting as a concept, so fast-pased, the world is so well-drawn, the story is so thoughtfully told. was particularly struck in a late ep by what a genius choice it was to introduce certain characters to us as tiny children, definitely informs at least how i see them as i watch things unfold for them and my heart aches. really brilliant. and so funny! im not ready to finish at all.
Does this have an ending or does season 2 end on a cliffhanger?
Yes and no. :)
That has answered my question perfectly…. I’m not confused at all.
