I think by using statistical models you can paint any picture you want to and it’s accuracy can be reduced to subjective truths and perspectives.

Uff.. Disturbing.
That was the best thing I’ve watched in a long time. Yes, it was disturbing. But true art is meant to make you feel a certain way. And this episode succeeded in that endeavor, 1000%.
Have 50 minutes left of this movie and I’m confused. When they switch they know the memories of the other person correct? If so this movie makes absolutely no sense because she had the best of both worlds. One week on one week off with no side effects. If not then why even do it since you personally don’t benefit and it’s only negative. I feel like I missed something? Or something will be explained on the last 50 minutes or so.
If this is a little miniseries then I’m loving the way its going so far. Its like watching a sweet rags to riches story told in 4 succinct parts without milking it out with nonsense that goes on and on for 4 seasons. The Brits are the best at making such little treasures. Perfect for a lazy, by-the-fire weekend - with LOTSA yummy snacks! :D
the episode we knew was coming, and they did it well. Watch out Oz, she’s coming.
Well if there weren’t so many absent or deadbeat fathers it may be better. Funny though, those same women also raise girls who don’t become monsters. Nice try though.
As the courts move away from bias more men find themselves as sole caregiver. Women are catching up in leaps and bounds in the area of absent deadbeat parents.
These episodes are now getting full on. The brakes are off and the horror is on full-time. Awesome to watch!
This is Simply Grotesque and unnecessary. It’s just like the terrifiers before it. It’s an overkill on gore, and even the guy who played terrifier got sick, physically sick and almost could not go through one of the parts in this movie. Hard pass.

There is like 100 movies named Revenge. Giving a year, or saying who is in it might help people look it up.
Oh this is going to be goodddd ! Made by Coralie Fargeat on top of it !!!!!! Can’t wait for the HD …. If you don’t know of Coralie Fargeat watch her first film REVENGE you won’t be disapointed I garantie that.

I remember this one. The guy was raping, murdering, robbing, you-name-it WITH IMPUNITY. His father was high up in the town; I can’t remember if he was the mayor or the sheriff, something like that. At any rate, every time the guy was arrested, he got off. EVERY TIME. He got away with EVERYTHING.
Well, folks, you can bet on this: you DELIBERATELY deny people justice, they’ll take it into their own hands. They are NOT going to watch someone endlessly terrorize their entire town, rob them blind, rape their daughters for sport, AND LET THEM WALK AWAY. Ain’t gonna happen! AND YOU ALL KNOW IT.
The kicker here, when they finally did something about the bastard, NOW the DAMNED, WORTHLESS FBI gets involved for the “sake of justice”. Oh, freakin’ REALLY? Yeah, you BET “No one saw a thing”. I COULD’VE BEEN STANDING RIGHT THERE AND I WOULDN’T HAVE, EITHER!
Mom once told me, “Some people spend their whole lives asking for someone to kill them. And finally someone does.” BINGO!
I can honestly say this is one of the best DC Batman Animated movies made. They did the characters right in it for once. Like, Gorden for once was no fool in this one. Pretty much knew who Bats was right away. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea when it comes to Batman, as he was still kind of naive in this one. Not the Batman people know so well. But as the title says - it is Year One. He was still learning.
Everything in this movie was great, from the voice acting, to the character devolvement, to the animation itself. The guy who did Bruce/Batman’s voice clearly tried to channel Kevin Conroy voice wise, and was pretty close. But no one can ever replace him fully. He will always be the voice of Batman to me when it comes to animation. But this guy did a great job. But anyways.
With all of that being said. It really makes you wonder why they’ve been able to make such fantastic animated movies, and had such a hard time with live DC Films. Here is to hoping Gunn’s new vision changes that, and they step up.
Okay but do we need any of that? Do I need statistics and percentages and all the experts to know that abuse is a bad thing?
This is a distraction and you have yet to answer my question. Do you think we have made any great amount of progress in stopping abuse for anyone in the last 50 years? Or have we just been blaming each other and getting no where?
I’m a sucket for this type of movie. If he kept making movies like this instead of trap he would be doing alot better lol.
I’m in the first episode and thus far my opinion is it was not murder. He was a crazy dangerous man and the system would not do a thing… so the towns people did what they had to do.
Snap, gotta give her a great big atta girl for that one! Sofia ain’t playing around!
can maybe someone here help me. i know there’s some serious cinephiles/telephiliacs here so hopefully someone can help… when Arlo grabbed that cup and put it over the marbles. something just clicked like it’s SO familiar to me. has this or something like it been a movie or another series maybe? or does anyone know why it might seem familiar.
aside from that. i really like this so far but it’s got only 6 eps to go? it’s gonna be a rushed series to get a full stoy in 26 minutes. wow… wish they were longer happy to see Baker working. she was my “tv mom” for a few years way back when being glued to Picket Fences. good start in first two episodes
Unless you are an aeronautics buff, this film is rather dry and academic. The film starts with history of the first flying machines along with some footage badly in need of renewal. It then goes into a detailed account of the new air ship complete with all the testing. There is much discussion of the accident that resulted in the death of a wildlife photographer and friend of the documentary’s host. The air ship does not actually fly until we’ll past three quarters of the film. All that is really seen is one large waterfall, shown over and over. Behind the waterfall is a cave not seen by any human before. Due to the natives protest it is not shown to the viewer. So as far as aerial shots this film is a bad pick. The viewer learns much about the working of the air ship and gets almost no views from it.
That was actually pretty good, even if about half was in Spanish, and I couldn’t understand it. Still was worth watching.
Episode reminded me to keep a chainsaw in the vehicle at all times!!!
So that’s where my gray blue & yellow throw cover went! I let that girl sack out on my couch for the night. She left early the next morning without even a thank you or goodbye! Wait, my coffee table doilies are missing too! I wonder where she wearing those?
(I will preface the following by saying this does not apply to all women.)
Allow me to be so bold as to enlighten you, as to the top 11, real reasons, real men, are abandoning marriage and are choosing to go their own way.
- Promiscuous/unfaithful behavior.
- no-fault Divorce.
- Over awarding of Alimony.
- Over awarding of Child Support.
- Legalized theft of men’s parental rights, & guardianship of their biological children.
- False allegations of domestic violence.
- False allegations of physical/sexual assault.
- Emotional abuse.
- Financial abuse.
- Lack of femininity.
- Misandry, which has been made socially acceptable by respectable, & civilized society as normal behavior in which to treat men, & raise boys in.
Oh young man, let me take you by the ear and school you in her(story). In the U.S. we became a brand new country in 1776. It took another 124 years for a law to be passed in all U.S. states that allows single white and black women the right to own property or profit from a business without a husband or male guardian in control. It was 1974 before married women were allowed a line of credit without the signature of a husband or male guardian. Women were not allowed to vote until 1920. And it wasn’t until 1900’s that children were no longer viewed as property in divorce proceedings.
Grasshopper already covered #’s 6,7,8 and 10.
I only have personal experience of the alimony and child surport you seem to have issue with. My father abandoned my mother and five children. (Three of which were biologically his.) Eventually mother was awarded child support of $50 a month for three children… As for alimony, historically it was nigh on impossible for a woman to enter the workplace when the only skills she had were cooking and cleaning so how in hell was she supposed to support her children??? In the 1960’s when women found employment they earned about 60 cents for every dollar men earned. Even today, women still haven’t closed that wage gap, earning only about 84% of what men earn.
I don’t know about misandry, I personally would agree with mistrust though.
Social acceptance is fluid, the world changes, perspectives alter and we grow. What was “normal” 200 years ago isn’t relavant in today’s society.
Just binged the first season and this is absolutely amazing. without any spoilers i love how you go from hate to love for one of the main caracters. I am almost “afraid” to watch the 2nd season as i doubt it can be as good as the first season, but after the games tonight it will be next.. let me reiterate the first season… WOW.

Im sorry, but no you did not say the victims/survivors blame themselves. I’m not here to argue. Best to you and yours.
Okay but what you said was that I was inaccurate but you really seem to be saying that I just didn’t give every detail. I did think about adding that to what I wrote but I have found that less is more. People will tear apart details and ignore the idea and I wanted to avoid that trap.
that home owners guy had me laughing out loud poor guy had no idea whom he was hard pressing hahahaha this series just keeps getting better
I was glad when the first toxic couple left but Kylie has made this entire series less pleasant to watch. This is not the sort of “drama” I expect on an Australian reality show, feels way more American to me now :( I hope they do better at screening contestants for next season (I hope there is a next season, I love the show & nothing on American TV is like this).
I totally agree it’s a fitting role for Demi. It’s a truly ironic observation on her “beauty” since Demi has had so much plastic surgery she was virtually unrecognisable until she got additional surgery to look a bit “Moore” like her true self. My remark is not a criticism of you; it’s ironic, and I think that she got the role because of that. She was/is the perfect candidate to express the push that the world forces on women to look young at any cost. She was beautiful as she was, before all the surgeries.
Incredibly predictable, a mystery you can smell a mile away, some odd choices, some silly jump scares, and yet still compelling. Beautifully shot, well-acted, and unsettling. Overall, perhaps not deserving of the praise it gets given the many more inventive indie horrors out there, but still worth a watch.
wow.. with all of the reviews online I had no interest in watching this. But I love Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley…. wowow.. talk about the connection with women today and ageing. and everything connected.. it was bloody brilliant! I am not sure I completely understand the ending, but I love it. Demi Moore deserves an Oscar for this!
Yay!!! Let’s go!!! Well deserved winner, congrats.
I need to stop getting invested in people in big brother. I felt disappointed. Not with the winner but with the pervious evictions. I stopped watched after Angela and Leah got evicted. Lost interest. But the winner 100% deserved it and played a wonderful game. I just wasn’t that invested.
