Damn .. I was 13 when this movie came out .. although I wasn’t allowed to watch it … for obvious reasons… I watched the trailer on repeat until one day I completely forgot about it … until now…. I somehow remembered it and watching it now at 24, for some reasonmakes me feel nostalgic … even though it is my first time watching it….

The first episodes are stellar-atmosphere, pacing, directing, acting, you name it.then it drags out quite a bit.But overall a good watch for Stephen King and paranormal fans( agree that it’s one of the best adaptations of a Stephen King work).

After seeing the first “The Wandering Earth” this seemed more like a prequel than a sequel.
Either way, we’re all fkd. :)

What an episode! This show is so brutally good, and I do mean brutal. The few moments of tenderness are exquisite though.

all a bit complicated, if anything self regulation in industry is ridiculous and how that was ever passed in so many places is cray.

I liked the beginning and the start of the invasion then the cat carried the rest of the movie. Glad to see a cat being a major character in a human movie

Really kind of surprised that 1., nobody else seems to have been watching these, this is a pretty good show, and 2. that it got cancelled after only 2 seasons. Well, maybe not. Seems like a lot of good ones get that treatment. considering the year (2013) it’s aged really well.

When the heck is season 3?! It’s not the best show but it’s giving LOST vibes and Season 2 was a lot better. It’s possible that they are just making it up as they go along but I’ll be watching

The alleged story is worth looking in to. I think they got Hugh Jackman as a favor, then used that segment (and more favors) to convince other celebrities.

Worth watching but you will get frustrated at the main character.

If you know your Watergate history this film is great fun.
The way they explain away historical facts as being due to the 2 girls is really clever.
Starting from the tape on the door in the basement of the hotel we get all the main plot points and characters.

Good comedy, some funny moments.

Despite all the tropes and stereotypes, there are episodes in this series where the writing is emotionally compelling - this is one of them. Really enjoying a rewatch.

1st season was enjoyable time travel adventure fun albeit with occasional current social politics commentary.
The 2nd season had a very different story premise, instead of more of the same fun stuff, we got an altogether different show. The politics became so blatantly in your face that at times it felt like it was just crusades and racism with a story written around them.

This is basically an “adult” film.

Not a bad show just not a good one either.

This is my current favorite series.
