The show has a good premise, great costume designs, and well done set designs. Too bad it didn’t get more than two seasons. I liked that a couple of actors from Supernatural appeared on the show
The second season could have been better if the time team hadn’t interacted with just female and minority historical figures when they time jumped. Flynn’s death could have been handled better.

1st season was enjoyable time travel adventure fun albeit with occasional current social politics commentary.
The 2nd season had a very different story premise, instead of more of the same fun stuff, we got an altogether different show. The politics became so blatantly in your face that at times it felt like it was just crusades and racism with a story written around them.
The first season was pretty good, but the second season was largely woke touchy-feely nonsense. It’s like they completely changed writers and ruined a good thing. This happens a LOT with Hollyweird series, so no surprise.
