Hundreds of years from now, the last surviving humans discover the means of sending consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century. These Travelers assume the lives of seemingly random people, while secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future.These travelers are: FBI Special Agent Grant MacLaren, the team's leader; Marcy, a young, intellectually disabled woman in the care of her social worker, David; Trevor, a high school quarterback; Carly, a single mom in an abusive relationship; and Philip, a heroin-addicted college student.Armed only with their knowledge of history and an archive of social media profiles, the travelers discover that 21st century lives and relationships are as much a challenge as their high-stakes missions. |

What a terrific series! All the major aspects of production of this series are way above average. From the writing and directing down to the set design and wardrobe, heck even location, it all comes together in this intriguing time travel tale. The casting is perfect and the performances are all top notch, every major character played to professionally convincing perfection. But the icing on the cake with this series is the ending, that comes out of nowhere and completely satisfies. Kudos to the writers for that. And so glad they left an opening for expansion should the show ever return.
One of my favorite series. Such a clever premise. Proves Canada can make good tv! It’s a shame that we’ll never have any more new seasons.

Just finished this series. Great Time Travel concept. Great character development and chemistry. Felt both finished and unfinished by the end. However they have left themselves a way to do another set of seasons should this ever get picked up again.
Sorry to see creative series like this go.

You need to see “Dark”. I think its a better time travel series tbh.
I didn’t watch this when it was on because I already had a full schedule. I started binging it a few days ago. I’m on S3 now and will be sorry to see it end. I would watch 20 seasons of this. Sort of weird at first to see Eric McCormack in such a serious role, but it grew on me. He’s so versatile, as are all the other cast members. A must-binge for anyone looking for something addictive.
