I enjoyed the series more. the storyline is presented more directly, the score is subtle and timed well. However, it was interesting to see the art reflecting the social norms of the era compared to current tolerances. I can’t tell if the series acting is better, or if it’s just the acting style of the 90’s. Overall it was still an enjoyable watch. 4/5 stars.
