Violent Night, any film described as “Die Hard meets Home Alone” is on my watch list
Just to let everybody know, I got around to watching this, and highly advise you all to watch. This was really good. I don’t often say that, but will this time, was actually enjoyable. Not going to say a lot, but will say that this was not your average Santa. Hope that don’t make this something that causes it to list this as a spoiler, as I want everybody to see this and get interested.
Also, would not call this a horror or slasher type of flick either, but somewhere between comedy (kind of) and action. Was just a really good movie for the season. And not your average one either.

Fun watch! I’ve seen it described as horror-comedy, action, thriller. It’s all of those and more. It’s got conniving manipulative rich people, “Home Alone” style traps, action, gore, a lot of comedy, and Beverly D’Angelo. And someone gets beaten with baby Jesus! It has some plot holes, but still worth checking out.
Guess I should have heeded the word VIOLENT, whoa but yeah, it was pretty good!

I have mixed reviews on this movie. It was rather cool to get the back story on how this guy became Santa. I had issues with the Lightstone characters, many were predictable and the ending was lacking, how to explain all of those deaths and what happened to the matriarch Mrs. Lightstone? She stole……… Worth a one time watch!
