I thought the story had a lot of potential, what with the premise of an alien pilot’s ship crash-landing here on Earth in the time of dinosaurs. There could have been a LOT of backstory right there, delving more into his home, his mission with the shipload of people, their destination, and his leaving a very ill child to earn a payday that (apparently) was never going to help get her the treatments she needed anyway. I liked Driver here, but they wrote some pretty wooden dialogue for him at times. The young girl Koa was strong, as was the daughter. There was quite a bit of action, even though some scenes tended to drag a bit. the movie concluded with many things left to the viewer to conjecture. In other words, just when things took off (literally!) the credits rolled. Ah, well…
The film is okay, I guess. But what I don’t understand is the main thing. How did he go back to 65 millions years ago? Unknowingly/accidentally time travelled? 🤔🤔🤔
It does say right at the beginning of the film. “Prior to the advent of Mankind, In the infinity of space, Other civilizations explored the heavens”. There´s ya answer right there!
i read the comments before watching it after highly anticipating to watch… so i went in not expecting much, yet was actually pleasantly surprised. very good movie, storyline and all.

This will make a good family movie. No sex, cursing, or violence except with the dinosaurs.Hardly any talking at all. Enough action to keep the kids interested and one brave girl survivor who saves the pilots backside a few times. The ending seemed a bit cut off to me. He was planning on getting her home, but who's home? Her family was dead in the crash. Maybe his home. It was left open ended to perhaps form ones own opinion. Too simplistic to be considered a good adult movie.
Wow! I have always thought that there has to be other life forms in solar systems far, far away. This movie proves a point, that other life forms are way, way more advanced than humans here on earth. This movie takes place 65 million years ago and I can’t imagine how advanced other life forms are 65 million years later! When the girl looked up to the sky and you see the red glow I knew it had to be the asteroid that would kill all life forms on earth. Anothre nagging question is where did the dinosaurs come from? I’m sure I learned that in school but I must of not been paying attention that day……😁
i completely agree great movie, would have liked to see a mid credit scene showing him and his wife adopting her or something but wasn’t necessary for the movie

There was no time travel involved at all. He’s not from Earth - the premise is basically these aliens visited earth 65 million years ago.
Hmm, it makes sense. I thought he was from earth, so, I thought of time travelling. 🤔🤔🤔
Thank you for your explanation.

Great premise but does not deliver on what was sold

Disappointing, really! 2.9/5
I love this movie! I love Adam Driver! Ariana Greenblatt was very good.
Nothing is good enough for some armchair critics. smh.

s own opinion. Too simplistic to be considered a good adult movie. So disappointing. Dont waste your time. The trailer looked great, but a complete dud.
The movie just became boring,we fast forwarded it. It needs something else, maybe more actors in it. I don’t know. I’ll give it 2 stars.
quite enjoyed the first 1/3 of the movie then it went downhill from there for me. i ended up skipping through the last part.
Honestly it was pretty bad
Upcoming movie that looks really good.
