The best X-Men screen adaptation ever created, period. Even with its flaws, like not such a great animation, it still remains the best screen adaptation of the X-Men story ever. Too bad they never made a fully adult audience oriented version as well. That’s something that MUST be done.

Guys X-Men: The Animated Series is now officially getting a revival series called X-Men 97 and will air on Disney Plus in sometime in 2023 and yes most of the original cast and most of the original creators behind X-Men: The Animated Series are coming back X-Men 97 bring on 2023.

Im 41 now so when this came out in 93 I was ten. When I was in my 20s I bought the boxset. Its so many animation errors in it but its still the best fox kids had to offer. Xmen97 was a damn good long awaited continuation

I was like 6 years old by the time the series was over, but remember watching re-runs as a kid. Now that I’m re-watching the series one of the first things I noticed was the unmistakable sound of Ron Wasserman in some of the music scores. His music was essentially the soundtrack to my childhood between this and Power Rangers.

Love this series,like the description says it follows the comics much more accurately then any other adaption I have seen.Even though its labeled as a ‘kids’ show, it is a must watch for any fan of the XMEN. And it explains more of the history about the shadow king and the morlocks that you may have seen in Legion and The Gifted.Not a spoiler just a heads up that the origins of those characters that are in popular shows now, that many don’t really know, are right here.You would have to find the right episodes for them,but it is worth watching from beginning to end.
