Just found this looking for something to binge, and it’s great. So sad it was cancelled after one season, but that one season is well worth watching. Hillary Swank is amazing, as always. Too bad good shows like this get cancelled when crap “reality” shows dominate the airways. Soon, there will be nothing decent to watch.

“Alaska Daily has been cancelled also. The decision was likely made because of underperforming viewership when compared to the other shows the network currently airs.” I really liked this drama and brought to light the plight of many Native American women who disappear and are murdered. Sure wish another network would pick it up or maybe Amazon Prime.
I loved this show. I wish they’d do another season.
It was a really good series but after 3 years, it’s very doubtful. Here is what I found and it is sad that networks really don’t give the good series more seasons. But they keep bringing back the reality shows, go figure. “Alaska Daily” was canceled after its first season because it failed to attract a large enough audience for ABC. The show was deemed too expensive to produce for the viewership it garnered. While critically acclaimed, the show didn’t resonate with enough viewers to warrant a second season.”
Canceling this show is like digging down the 192 report, but for real. Sad decision. This was good.
