Nah not worth the effort to watch it.

Something between Slavic fairy tale, Nosferatu and Zeman’s Krabat. Quite interesting take on vampire story.
I hate to be the guy to comment before watching, but I just watched the writers (also wrote The Mick as well as a few eps of Its Always Sunny) on the “we might be drunk” podcast with Mark Normand and Sam Morill, and its a great watch if you like to hear about the writing process and just how shit goes. ill edit this when i finish the movie. Edit: Trying to be this ages American Pie. Nothing new. but still enjoyable.
Ben is such a nincompoop. Always crying and dragging everyone around and putting people in danger based on his melodramatic “certainty” of every emotion. And everyone keeps falling for it every time.
One of the darkest episodes. They did a really nice job pinching off of Fox’s Exorcist series to create something a bit different. It carries like that show, however and you can tell. Still good to see some discussion around human behavior that intersects religion, since so many people worship without question. I don’t need to know how you feel about my opinion.
they’re not really worshipping God, they are worshipping the men who wrote the bible and they dont even know it.
They have the show on this site. Watch it here. https://www.primewire.li/tv/14505-miami-vice

it’s crazy how people die of cancer and other terrible diseases and still wanna make you believe God provides and God would never let you down.
Damn! I love this new rendition! They don’t always get it right but, the twist work. Seeing Joseph Marcell and hearing himsay his OG name made my hair stand on end. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
The original gi9ves you all you need to know about there relationship you don’t need to know how they met or any of that stuff sometimes less equals more.
Idk man. Comparing the two. The original barely goes into the relationship he had with his GF. The flashbacks reminded me of the south park episode. Where the teacher kept having flashbacks of the woman saying “Richard”. Just a basic my woman died horribly so now I need to get revenge. The newer version actually fleshed out the relationship probably a bit too much if I’m honest. With the action the older version to me personally was boring and a bit cheesy. The newer one I’ve already said in a different comment don’t feel like saying that again. But that’s just 2 cents lol. Both are good crow films for different people. Edit the older version isn’t as bad as recent Disney though lol.no where close to that bad.

I watched the original movie for the first time a few days ago and I can say that the original movie beats out anything that this movie tries to do you say that it’s a weak Disney film well that must be one messed up Disney film as the original film is alsorts of messed up if anything it’s this film that comes across as being a slightly more mature Disney film and not the original film.

This is pretty good but reading it all is exhausting for my eyes. About a third is in English. Maybe I can take it in small amounts.
I may be wrong (of course) but I don’t think today’s cancel culture would allow such a show.
oh wow another documentary about how the us government blew up there own towers and still want people to believe a bunch of farmers infiltrated there defense and did it, maybe they should of looked at real planes that have crashed into buildings look like like the one that hit the empire state. and others oh by the way all the other buildings are still standing yet the towers that were built to withstand force 100 hurricanes and tornadoes fell down…what a joke
Eh maybe. I don’t really remember the first one. I’ll re watch it and maybe that will change my mind on this one.
I re watched the original because I hadn’t seen it in years. I like this version more. For people saying this doesn’t even compare to the original. When’s the last time you watched the original? Its not as good as I remember it being.
Vic Fontaine - one of the best characters and story arcs in all of sci fi tv. James Darren as a singer was criminally underused. He was a close friend of the Sinatras and it shows.
I have seen an advance screening..and let’s just say this, if you’ve never seen the 90ies era original version (with Brandon Lee and a MOST excellent Soundtrack)? Meh, maybe you will be entertained and think it’s “Original”. If you are a fan of the original? Well, this one belongs in the (Garbage) Dumpster Bin with the other remade Classics (Roadhouse, Pointe Break, Red Dawn, Poltergeist, The Longest Yard, The Fog etc, etc..)
I draw the line at dissing Adam Sandlers The longest yard. How didnt you take that seriously? Dont you know cinema? Terry Crews was at peak performance during that film, Not to mention Joey Diaz.
New western thriller out of Canada starring some familiar faces. Corin Nemec, who played Jonas Quinn from Stargate SG-1 and Tom Hopper, who played Luther Hargreeves aka Number 1 from The Umbrella Academy and the lovely Heather Graham from, well, a lot of things. Sounds interesting.
Except for Elliot Page and Colm Feore, I’ve never seen Umbrella Academy kids in anything else.
I like Westerns a lot!
I like westerns a lot too. In fact last week I was on a binge of all the other series in the Lonesome Dove saga. Streets of Laredo, Cherokee moon
from what I understand this anime of Rick and morty is shit.and I’m glad I didn’t watch it because it might make me dislike the original show.
true, yea I reddit it right after reading your comment and it made sense re-reading your comment lol. this what they had to say lol, agree miss pickle rick days
“I did not understand, at any level, the thing I just watched for 30 minutes.
Same but I also don’t have any anime-watching experience so maybe that contributed to my confusion?

Nah. It just wasn’t very good.
Confusing storytelling/direction unrelated to being an anime.

no, its not an anime thing. the whole thing felt like a bad acid trip”
Tim curry’s was never shown or mentioned as it was a surprise cameo.. I can’t wait for digital release. Should be October. Fingers crossed for earlier release. But I predict that it will have the same as terrifier 2 release. Which was originally only a week at Cinemas but went on for few extra weeks.
It is out in theatres now, but only at select ones. The closest showing to me is 3 hrs away :( I’d be happy to even see a cam version for Tim Curry!! LOL
i dunno what this means, like since they changed and lost the voice ???

I still believe to this day that Scott killed Laci. It is of my belief that she found out he was cheating before the holidays and she decided to hold off until after the holidays to leave him and tell the family so as to not ruin the family’s Christmas. I think a fight ensued over the cheating and he choked her out. These are my opinions and until there is concrete evidence to the contrary I will keep this belief. RIP dear Laci and Connor.
Oh snap! Viv, no you didn’t! These boys are legit all up in the messiness. Gonna be a good season!!!
not bad, skipped the last bit of season 2. Looks like the production value has gone up an i agree so far im in…
I don’t know why, but his unhinged lies remind me that he was an Epstein Frequent Flier to pedo island.
Sounds like people are loving this. Glad I decided to not watch this and make me hate Rick and morty lol.

Except in the original film they got all of that across in about fifteen minuets and not around the forty minutes that it takes this film to cover that exact same story.

I kind of thought that too. That it took too long before he actually became the crow or whatever. But after thinking about it for a bit I changed my mind. He is doing all this because he loved his GF he cared about nothing else besides her. . They had to flesh that out a ton or it would of felt hollow. Would just feel like him going on a murderous rampage because he is will have cool action scenes. Also towards the end in the opera house I thought those scenes were pretty badass. He seemed so menacing to me. I kept thinking man how terrifying wolverine and Deadpool would be in real life. You can’t do anything to stop them. They just keep coming.

yes a Vatican spin off or even a special would be too cool have to wrap up that ending w the son.
This is Tim Curry’s return to the screen!! Funny how he is barely mentioned in half the promos. I would love to see it, but it is only playing in select theatres too far away! :(

not loving how disposable the black characters are feeling to this series! otherwise very engaged
now why has this young man been floated 4 different romantic interests in 7 episodes?
Look. I will start off by saying I am a huge crow fan. From the comics, to Brandon Lee’s take on Eric Draven. Which in my eyes is the best take on The Crow a fan could of asked for. But that being said. Let me get into this.
This movie was horrible. For one, they could of done one of a million different Crow Stories, but they decided to redo Eric and Shelly’s story. And, don’t get me wrong. if done right… it could of been fantastic. But this movie was a shit show from start to finish.
Bills take on Eric reminded me of Leto’s Joker, but worse. Shelly… oye, not even worth even being in the movie with how bad she was in this. You could tell the director and crew knew nothing about the The Crow stories, lore, or history outside of what was written on the scripts. The disrespect they did to Brandon Lee by redoing his part in such a horrible way, is just mind blowing.
This movie could of been good. It could of been fantastic. But instead, after all these years of waiting, we get this trash. I could give this a negative 20 stars if possible.
DO NOT watch this even if you are not a Crow fan… the story was jumbled, distorted and had no meaning. The acting was a joke. Even the VFX was sub par.
