Look. I will start off by saying I am a huge crow fan. From the comics, to Brandon Lee’s take on Eric Draven. Which in my eyes is the best take on The Crow a fan could of asked for. But that being said. Let me get into this.
This movie was horrible. For one, they could of done one of a million different Crow Stories, but they decided to redo Eric and Shelly’s story. And, don’t get me wrong. if done right… it could of been fantastic. But this movie was a shit show from start to finish.
Bills take on Eric reminded me of Leto’s Joker, but worse. Shelly… oye, not even worth even being in the movie with how bad she was in this. You could tell the director and crew knew nothing about the The Crow stories, lore, or history outside of what was written on the scripts. The disrespect they did to Brandon Lee by redoing his part in such a horrible way, is just mind blowing.
This movie could of been good. It could of been fantastic. But instead, after all these years of waiting, we get this trash. I could give this a negative 20 stars if possible.
DO NOT watch this even if you are not a Crow fan… the story was jumbled, distorted and had no meaning. The acting was a joke. Even the VFX was sub par.
