So the ailens are human? That’s a cop out
You couldnt tell from the first scene that had the clearly human manufactured drones walking around and shooting people.
I made it about halfway through epi 2, just once I’d like to see a movie where its a matter of life and death where the kids are told to STFU! Lots of silly mistakes in this flick, typical lazy writing.

weird. made no sense. wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t come back for a second season. i think the writers were all on LSD.
I really wanted to like this series, but the acting is amateur and the storyline and dialogue are just too boring and too slow.

versions of this i had seen elsewhere, half the show is english, half french .. subs only converted the english bits to french
can someone confirm these do the french bits with english subs ?

In July 2021, War of the Worlds was renewed for a third season, with production already underway. The third season is set to air in 2022
With Molly Windsor joining the cast!

ATTENTION H.G. WELLS FANS! Apparently, the folks in Europe are fans too, as this marks the second production of The War of The Worlds to premiere in October(ish). Unlike the British 3-part miniseries, this production takes place in contemporary France and starts on Monday, October 28 in Belgium, for 8 Episodes. As with many European TV Shows, we most likely won’t see it until sometime around November 3rd, when it will be distributed to the rest of the World by Fox Network.

I kinda thought that season 2 was the end. How do you keep it going if the main/vital character is murdered by a time traveling @$$hole before all the stuff starts? BTW, I don’t think he should have killed her. She was innocent. Even if she later became the mother/Eve of the end of the world people..
UPDATE. The latest news according to media sources, US release date for Season 2 will actually begin on or thereabouts Sunday, June 6th, 2021.
This is not really surprising nor unexpected, as the US release of Season 1 via Fox Network was also delayed, following the earlier French release distributed by Canal+.
To ensure maximum enjoyment, the best recommendation is to patiently await the official US release, which should provide English Subtitles for any non-English portions, before attempting viewing the new Season Episodes.
US Episode Releases. After the initial 2 US Episodes, anticipating the US Releases will continue to drop weekly, beginning Friday, June 4th, 2021.
This is consistent with the US Episode Releases from Season One.
I never knew the second season came out I will watch this sometime. I realized 27 days I was thinking of of world on fire that I watched. I haven’t seen this show yet.
Don’t let the title of the drama fool you! It’s nothing like H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds! This drama reminds me of TNT’s drama Falling Skies. So far, it’s a fair drama and wonder if it will have a 2nd season? I hope so, it would be mean to leave us hanging and wonder what happened to the humans that are left alive around the world.

Yeah,i can upload even all episodes from season 2,i have the files..the problem is the subtitles for the french parts..there is no subtitles for them yet :/
Exactly. As detailed above, to avoid repeating the pitfalls of viewer frustrations from Season One, best recommendation is to await the US release on or about June 6th, 2021, which should have English Subtitles either already encoded or multi-language Subtitle files within Three Days of said release. Personaally, I am holding on to that eventuality before investing time and energy on anything less then 100% maximum viewing experience from this franchise.

Very Good I’m sure the French people who failed English (like I failed French) are also struggling with the two languages.So far it has kept me on the edge of the seat and although the second series is so far mosly in French I can kinda keep along with the story
I can’t remember if I watched season 3, shall start on it this morning. There are so many different war of worlds series to watch, might have to make it a binge watch event for the remainder of the week. Might have to devote some time to watch my alma mater play football/basketball and then some nfl football.

dosmundos, thanks for the comment on the ending of season one! I didn’t realize that season 3 had started. Will be watching the 4 new episodes but I think I need to watch the last episode of season 2 before I start season 3.

ALSO: Apparently, some of the dialogue is NOT in English and NO English Subtitles.
This has been reported to the Content Team, who should resolve the situation as soon as possible.
In the meantime, please hold your comments regarding this matter.
EFF 11/01/2019: I have been informed that one of our awesome Members is in the process of manually adding English Audio (for the English Parts) and submitting them for each episode. French Subtitles are still a work in process. If you look at the individual vev.io Versions for the words “English”, and the tag “SWG”, you can identify which Version(s) have been modified. More updates to follow as information becomes available.
And for whatever it is worth, I am hopeful we might see New English Language Versions updated around the first week in November when this Series will be distributed to the rest of the World by Fox Network, as I previously reported.

BTW: IMDB and TVMaze try to keep their info as accurate as possible. But when there are TWO European Productions with the same (or similar) name released around the same time, it’s easy for them to keep their facts accurate. I have personally witnessed changes from both of them during the past month as each scramble to get the details straightened out.
