I watched the trailer and my pen7+8 fell off. True story. No big loss =p
Very good, but heartbreaking. Jeff Bridges is excellent as well as Edward Furlong as his son.
Unfortunately another must see that will at the same time break down your hopefulness and faith after seeing examples of the worst corruption and unethical behavior. The only real question is how common are such embellishments to outright fraud in financial markets at any time or place?
I can still recall much of this documentary myself. I would say as far as such things go its well produced to be engaging material even though if edited like so much similar things often are it could be similarly mind numbingly boring.
Put the Task Force back together. He gave the coins to the cat in the hat - Red Reddington.
I hate the format of this show always ending on a cliff hanger I’ll die on that hill. The show is good enough they don’t need to pull that lame cliff hanger every episode. On a different note really enjoying the twists from this episode though. Won’t spoil them. But was a nice change up to shake things up more. Also I want Sandra’s daughter to win(Nina) Or the gamer guy(Jack) . I really like those two. The guy that won big brother(Xavier) is good and has a great chance to win. But I don’t really like his personality he is too full of himself.
i know better than to get into a series that hasnt finished the season i hate waiting for the nxt episode lol
Would have really liked to see Season 2 of Tennison. The 1st season had good actors and a great story line. Next I will rewatch Prime Suspect with Helen Mirren.
The lord always takes the best from us too soon!
This show is so meta its attained sainthood for me.
I think it portrays the spirit of jesus in such a competent way it really is spiritually inspiring.
Good content! It has a nice unusual collection of many of my favorite small time or more supporting actors usually in it.
It sat at the bottom of my to watch list forever mostly because it didn’t have any big names to draw me to it sooner.
I found it to seem pleasantly surprising in entertainment value compared to what i expected from its “sleeper” sort of status or themes.
I think it was just perhaps poorly promoted or titled or dropped at a divisive time when the mere title could have a huge impact both positive and negative on it.
Still it seems like a good part of a healthy balanced viewing diet to me. Not my favorite portion but if you didn’t have any ever you would probably slowly waste away from some deficiency.
Also don’t forget to take your daily multivitamins if your diet isn’t super top notch on varied nutrients.
Not for all y’all, but this movie from 1988 with the iconic Ann-Margaret is timeless, entertaining and silly not to mention heart-felt. RIP Kelly Preston
I have watched this series more than a few times its so enjoyably funny for me. Feels like a classically well executed format with all the monty python kids in the hall style cross gender dressing and hyper exaggerated characters and stereotypes.
Its just good clean fun that doesn’t offend and pokes fun at any and everything without obvious limits.
Then again i may have a soft spot for this type of format having been exposed to it often and early in life.
Still i can see myself viewing this plenty more times in the future on some semi regular schedule as my memory of it fades and is ready for a refresher experience.
Its short format so don’t be daunted by trying it out for the first time.
Good show, even with a Franco in it. The writing and the other characters kept it interesting, fun. Daryl Hannah was a surprise, I didn’t recognize her at all. Milano must be part vampire, she has barely changed in >25 yrs. The whole series was a nice quick binge— about 2 hrs. total.
Ty for the divine review that fit my needs and sentiment ever so perfectly.
Entertaining, but mindless testosterone pumped film with nothing memorable about it. I expected very little going into it, and I got everything I was expecting. You would be just as well off watching a first person shooter video gameplay on YT. The dialogue is about the same quality as a video game, as well. The funniest part was the satellite with the Russian stickers on it. I’ll be generous and give it 2/5.
You are right! It is not definitely your typical vampyr. Thanks for the info :)
The family entanglements gave this a different angle than your typical vampire film. I also liked the choice of using marionette effects and trippy eyes. For jaded vampire lovers, some may find this version refreshing. Who can’t relate to having a blood sucking relative? :-)
Overall, though, I enjoyed this more for it’s uniqueness than it’s structure. 3/5
One of these reimaginings that I really did like was “Under The Skin”, with Scarlett Johansson. It’s a very slow burn and surreal take on, “What if vampires were not from this world?”
FYI: Many people strongly disliked the lack of dialogue and slow pace in “Under The Skin”. It also has bizarre surreal scenes surrounding the entrapment of its prey. On the other hand, I found it a great midnight movie with a little “mother’s helper”. So be warned, it’s nearly all pure experience with nearly no narration.
Saw this on Tubi and it was actually fantastic. Dont know why it got such poor ratings on Imdb and such. This was far better than most of the hollycrap thats out there.
A fun and entertaining watch, especially if you are a fan of Nathalie Emmanuel (“Missandei” from GoT). I had to consciously suspend disbelief at times, but this is still most certainly worth a watch.
This is a fantastic film and although some claim it’s a Cube like film, it is NOT. Saying more will give away the spoilers, but let’s safely say that Sci-Fi should be listed in the genres. I was engrossed every minute.
yup …….. were is that paper boy ? ……. havent seen him in awhile o dear ‘’’’’ ha hahahahahahaha
Love this episode ! Classic stuff :D

Oh excellent that we have similar thoughts on movies/shows. I could add you as a friend if you’d like.
I was checking out Maika’s filmography & saw I’ve seen a couple of her films already like It Follows. ADORE that movie. It’s such a freaky movie lol. Have you seen It Comes At Night? It’s probably my favorite horror movie. Not a traditional horror film at all which is what I like most about it. Leaves you w/a lot of questions which I love. It really gets you thinking.
Thanks for the recos.
This was a great watch! thank you. Watch “Stags” it just premiered. I just finished episode 2. what a crazy/ funny show, you wont regret it, especially if bored lol enjoy!
This was SUCH a hysterically funny series! Great cast with Jane Leeves, Wendy Mallik, Valerie Bertinelli and of course (the late great) Betty White
thats just crazy thing to do!!!!!! but …….. movie was good also get to see the trade center !
I thought it was good. Cinematography very similar to Mandy which I also liked
This is a little fun fact I found on IMDB, Neon has set up a dedicated phone number you can call to have a little chat with “The Man Downstairs,” who happens to be a serial killer dubbed Longlegs. He’s played by Nicolas Cage in the upcoming movie, and dialing the number will result in a deeply unsettling pre-recorded message from Cage’s latest character. The number is 458.666.4355. Dial if you dare…
After watching all ten episodes of the show and being somewhat of a fan of these characters this show really wasn’t as fun as it could have been. As a show with these characters has the permission to be a fun filled show that just goes straight up balls to wall insane and while there are indeed hints of how fun this show could be in certain episodes alot of the time it’s just not that fun to watch and because of that is the fact that it does come across as being hard to watch , with this not really being helped by the fact that the characters that Task Force X meet in this new world just straight up disappear from the show for several episodes at a time which does make there inclusion in the show pointless this is despite the fact that there meant to be main characters and yet are given very little screen time.
This show really did have all of the potential in the world to be a really good show and bring in new fans to not only the world of anime but also the world of comic books as well. Yet for some strange the reason the show doesn’t do any of that and instead just focuses on a plot that’s straight up weak at best and just comes and goes as and when it pleases so much so that at times it is hard to remember what the actual plot of the show is even meant to be and when you take into account the fact that in the dub they give The Joker the world’s most famous supervillain a voice that makes you want to laugh at the character and not be scared of the character it does go along way to make this show seem even less fun then what it really should have done in the first place.
My guess would be that toxic monsters, like those portrayed here, would call their island something like that. The filmmakers probably wanted that toxicity represented in the title, but the studio feared the public backlash it would probably get given the resurgence of fundamentalism in the US right now.
I think that title gives away too much though. Basically a spoiler imo.
Excellent movie directed by Zoe Kravitz (Lenny Kravitz’s daughter) in her debut. This is a great start for a first time director/co-writer. Acting was quite good especially by Naomi Ackie whom I’m not familiar with at all. I definitely want to check out her prior movie. Stellar cast too.
The movie takes awhile for the world to unfold in this but the pacing makes sense for all that occurs. Some have said it is predictable but I was mesmerized & surprised since the world building & character development was quite convincing. So I basically went along on the ride. Worth seeing if you like quirky movies. But be warned there are some disturbing things that happen in the movie that could be triggering.
A very intriguing theory. I wonder if Alina Chan is familiar with it…
ask fauchi, he was the one that took over and helped in the cover up..lol my bet is it was another man made disaster
Just finished this episode. Really enjoying this show. If you like the Challenge and other shows like that in sure you will like this as mush as I do.
Watched a YouTube video taking about the best competitive shows on different streaming services. This was the first one they mentioned and it looks awesome.
I love naked and afraid!
yeah..cant deny i watch every version and spin off as well… This one is pretty good, but i would love a 60 day XL again soon…..
You’re welcome. I find when I read your reviews I almost always have the same thoughts and feelings! Check out Significant Other, The Guest, and It Follows… to name a few! See you around!

Everybody needs to see this film………we owe those little bees so much !
Horrible show, Terrible acting. Were hungry riot for food. Oh wait there’s a race were not hungry anymore lets go watch.
Elaine and Tony together “Enough Said”
This was one of James’ final movies, I liked his character in this, He played a more humble, nice guy, than his Tony Soprano character. It was a stroke of genius that Julia Louis Dreyfuss (Elaine from Seinfeld) was also cast, because at the time Sopranos and Seinfeld were my fav shows. Its the sort of movie, that while not a comedy classic (prob more on the drama side) held my attention for the entire film. I believe that Jim Gandolfini was similar to De Niro and Pacino, in that he studied his craft and made every character he played believable. Well acted, well done. As an Aussie, I was glad to see Toni Collette in this movie, and apparently Bono from U2s daughter, Eve Hewson
I just watched this film and I sincerely loved it! Made me really miss James Gandolfini though.
I liked it,, but not as good as the first one
