Woke takes an absurdly irreverent look at identity and culture as it follows Keef, an African-American cartoonist finally on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes everything. With a fresh outlook on the world around him, Keef must now navigate the new voices and ideas that confront and challenge him, all without setting aflame everything he's already built. |

Ha! Yeah, those low ratings in the 2s and 3s were from the early trolls’ knee jerk votes, based on its title, not from watching it. If you look at the actual numbers now and ignore the 1s and 10s, you get more like a 7-7.5 overall.
Good content! It has a nice unusual collection of many of my favorite small time or more supporting actors usually in it.
It sat at the bottom of my to watch list forever mostly because it didn’t have any big names to draw me to it sooner.
I found it to seem pleasantly surprising in entertainment value compared to what i expected from its “sleeper” sort of status or themes.
I think it was just perhaps poorly promoted or titled or dropped at a divisive time when the mere title could have a huge impact both positive and negative on it.
Still it seems like a good part of a healthy balanced viewing diet to me. Not my favorite portion but if you didn’t have any ever you would probably slowly waste away from some deficiency.
Also don’t forget to take your daily multivitamins if your diet isn’t super top notch on varied nutrients.
