4 years ago, producers said the world was weird & negative enough, so they didn’t see any point in adding to it by making more seasons of Black Mirror. Totally glad they rethought their position on the matter.

Season 6 still lacked inspiration imo. First episode is good, there’s another decent sci-fi episode and the 3 others are ok horror stories.

IMHO only episodes 2 & 3 were decent, the rest were meh (season 6)
enjoyed this more than the what i remember of the last season. eps 1 and 5 probably being my favorites, followed by 3, 4/2. needed more eps IMHO.

season 1 ep1 was the best. hard for the rest to live up to. imho.

I was missing it too, every time it got bumped up to the top. I was looking forward to a new season too.
you may wanna check that again, i read today that he said during that interview that he was working on 6 but wasn’y sure what he was allowed today about it. what you said about him commenting on the state of the world and people not having the stomach for the typical episode was right, he then followed that up by saying that he was trying to lean more into humor this time, I guess like the one where the Furry was voted PM, or the episode about the “likes”. anyway, thought that might be a little good news and something to look forward to.
I guess I am one of the few who doesn’t have a smartphone and the reason, I’m rarely on my flip phone. Yes, you read that right, and I can’t justify paying over a $1000 for a phone that I won’t use that often. I work at a university and I’ve seen students step out into the crosswalk and not look to see if someone is driving toward them. They’re looking down at their smartphones! Students will come into my office and ask where room 703 is and tell on the 7th floor. There’s a 7th floor?!?! Yes, I reply and have you not noticed one end of the building is higher than the other end? No, never noticed. Well, I guess you never look up from your smartphone to notice anything! Thank goodness I don’t have an addictive personality!
