A proper English spy show made for the US market? As unlikely as that sounds, this works for me. Funny, clever, intriguing and just enough action to keep me watching.
Not so unlikely. For ex., the BBC and WGBH (US public TV) have been in partnership on productions since at least 1995 and probably earlier.

I didn’t know this show existed till last weekend. I started to watch out of boredom, got hooked and binged the first season in a weekend. Great spy story and excellent acting. 5/5 stars
Well, good news! Slow Horses will have a 6th season, and the 5th season hasn’t started yet. I do think the 5th season might start in January. Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.
One of the few shows that deserves all the hype it has received. Great scripts + acting + direction + production values + everything.
I’m enjoying season 3 so far. I love Gary Oldman as Lamb.
I couldn’t decide if The Rolling Stones was singing or Mick Jagger. It’s Mick doing that singing. Not a bad little drama
Good news if you’re a fan! Apple TV+ has yet to announce premiere dates for Season 4 and Season 5.
Season 3 starts December 1st. One month to go.

Not sure why someone gave it only 2 stars since it hasn’t been released yet. Unless that person is judging by the trailer. My bad, it came out today. I think it looks intriguing and will give it go, of course on another site. I’ll report back once I’ve watched it.

This should make you even happier. There are no indications that this show will be ending any time soon. Every season is basically one of the novels in The Slough House series with 8 so far and another one coming sometime this year. The series is very well received and Oldman says he loves doing it so we could be getting at least up to 9 seasons.

And the series is most definitely in my at least my top 5 ever

Oh, my goodness! Season 3 has started and there are episodes to watch! I know what I’m doing tonight while making a big pan of green bean casserole and baking a ham. Office holiday potluck next week and I’m getting a head start on my cooking.
Not a big fan of ham but I do love me some green bean casserole. I’ll literally eat the whole dish myself.
Today was the holiday potluck and the green bean casserole lasted 45 minutes.
September 4th the 4th season starts. Can’t wait even though Gary Oldman’s character turns me off at times due to his lack of hygiene and wearing the same clothes for days at a time.
