Fabulous programme. It lead the way for Spartacus: Blood & Sand.
Great writing, actors, & filming. I want to re-watch it now.
Loved Ray Stevenson in it.

This is an excellent series - very yang and yin. The first season is exuberant - big, brassy, buxom and beautiful. The second season is just as excellent, but a bit of a tough slog. Glad I did the rewatch.
